I had just gotten out of my Uber and headed up the stairs to Kai's front door. We were going to work on our project today and try and get it completed.
He opened the door before I could knock. "Why you all dressed up for we just doing school work?" He asked twisting his face up.

"Kai I already told you I had a photo shot today after we finish our project." "Oh yeah I forgot."
"So what's been up with you Best friend?" Kai asked as I came in taking off my shoes. "Nothing much, I should be asking you that busy boy."
"Yeah you know same ole school, basketball over and over again. How is your modeling stuff been coming?" "It's going good really my homeboy at the studio Lana took me to Zo, he's been helping me get my portfolio together."
"Damn, portfolio, you fancy and shit huh." "Yeah well a good model gotta have a really good portfolio, with variety of different looks so I can appeal to the masses."
We continued to catch up with each other on little things while we worked on our project. Kai was a good partner he cared about his grades and he always had a way to make things seem easy and less complicated. Kai was also very charismatic and had a great speaking voice. I could easily see him being an CEO of some type of company when he finishes school.
After working for quite a while I could tell Kai was getting restless. He started playing around and being goofy. "Kai you're losing focus." I told him as he tried to tickle my feet.
"Were almost finished let's take a break, I'm getting hungry." He said standing up heading to his room door.
"Greedy ass." I said following after him into the kitchen.
"Look in the fridge in the drawer on the right, and get the pepperoni and mozzarella cheese out for me please." Kai asked me, while turing the oven on 425°, then looking under the cabinet coming back up with a pizza pan. "We gonna make some pizza best friend!" Kai said smiling then looking around the kitchen for more items.
