I woke up today feeling refreshed since I had slept in today. I got up and decided to go ahead and put a hair mask in my hair. After letting it sit in awhile I hopped in the shower and washed my hair. Before I washed up I shaved. Getting out I wrapped a towel around my wet body and I used a T-shirt to dry my hair. I went into my closet and pulled out a white crop top and some blue sweat pants and put them on. I put leave in conditioner in my hair and left it to air dry.
I called April on facetime to see when she was coming over. "Hey boo!" I said happy when she answered. "Hey boo!" She said back but I was distracted by the noise in her background I looked seeing a guy in the background on the camera. He had his back turned so I couldn't see who it was, but I knew it wasn't her dad. "Girl who over there?" I tried to whisper ask her. "Boo I gotta go, I'll be over there in a hour." She said and hung up before answering my question. What the hell was that about I thought to myself.

Since April said she wasn't coming until a hour, I went into the kitchen and pulled out ingredients to make some cupcakes. I took out everything I needed, then I measured out how much of each ingredient I needed. I pre heated the oven, and after mixing up all the batter I poured it in the cupcake pan and put them in the oven.
A couple minutes later I heard my phone ding and it was a message from April saying she was outside. I went to the door letting her in. "Hey Yada Boo." April said giving me a hug. After taking off her shoes April followed me into the front room.
"So Kai went out with Summer." I just blabbed out to her. "What, what you mean they dating?" April asked me. "I don't know I guess so, they went out together yesterday." I told April."So are you jealous?" She asked me. "No I'm not jealous that he's dating Pro, I'm just irritated he dating her." I replied.
"Well speaking of dating, I got something to tell you." April said looking at me with a face I wasn't to sure of. "What is it?" I said nodding her on. "I'm dating Q." April shot out so fast I almost missed what she said. "Quintrell Q, Quintrell Thomas Q?" I asked to be sure. "Yes, what other Q. "April said confirming. "What, wait, when this happen?" I asked her.
" Well you know Friday at the party I got drunk so I couldn't drive home. Since he rode to the party with Kai he just took my car to drive me home. Since it was late I told him he could just stay and leave tomorrow, so he did. But later that night one thing led to another, and we got caught up." April said telling me the story. "What, caught up how bitch I know y'all ain't have sex." I said to her looking confused. "Yes, we did and it was so good. Bitch he had my body going crazy." April said leaving me shocked. "That's to much info chic." I said scrunching up my nose at her.
"Mmmm something smells good." She said smelling the air. "It's my cupcakes and they just about done." I said walking in the kitchen. "Yay, you made cupcakes." April said following me into the kitchen as I took the cupcakes out the oven and turned off the stove.
"So you and Quintrell a couple now?" I asked her. "Yes, he said he want us to be official." She said smiling. "We even spent all day together yesterday." She told me. "Well bish you must've put it down down then." I said making us both laugh. "So that was him I seen on the video." I said just catching on. "Yeah that was him, I just didn't wanna tell you all this over the phone." April told me.
"Yeah and that reminds me I'm still going to whoop yo ass for hanging up on me ." I said chasing April around the kitchen laughing. "OK I'm tired, I give up." She said. When she stopped running I came up to her and grabbed her. I gave her a tight hug. "I'm happy for you best friend. I'm happy your happy. I think y'all make a great couple, and I knew y'all secretly liked each other." I told her laughing at the last part.
I put the icing and topping on my cupcakes. We ate a few and chilled until April left and went home.

"Man whatt? Since when?" I said to Q. We was sitting in my basement chilling and he had just told me him and April was dating. "So that's why y'all be acting like that cause y'all secretly in love." I said laughing. "Man shut up I know you not talking, while you over here crushing on Summer. She got you whipped from a kiss my nigga." Q said laughing at me cause I told him about me and Summer kissing. "Well on the good side, we good for the cuddle season bro." Quintrell said. "To bad you ain't good at taking this ass whooping." I told him as well continued to play NBA2K21.
