"I can't breathe." I yelled out. I opened my eyes and saw my big sister Alana sitting on me.
"Wake up then." She said. "Mama yelled for you to get up forty minutes ago, and now you about to be late for school. You know you take all day in the bathroom." She said as she picked up a pillow off my bed and hit me in the head with it.
I quickly pulled the covers off. I hopped up out the bed grabbing another pillow, and throwing it at Alana as she ran out my room. "Not as long as you do." I yelled at Alana.
I looked at the time and rolled my eyes heading in the bathroom. Now I'ma be late.
I hurried up and quickly showered, getting out wrapping my towel around me. I slipped on my panties and bra, and lotioned up. Finding me something quick and comfortable to throw on. Once I dressed I brushed my hair into a messy bun on top of my head. Afterward I applied light makeup. I sprayed on some smell good, grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs.
I headed into the kitchen hearing laughter. "Oh, so nice of you to finally join us." My best friend Kai smirked, knowing he was being annoying as usual.
"Good morning sweetie." My mom said smiling. "Is everyone but me a to jolly morning person? " I asked frowning my face up.
"Honey starting the day off happy never hurt anybody, and breakfast is on the table. Hurry up and eat something." My mom said pointing to the table.
"It's good to." Kai said while smacking on a piece of bacon. "I bet it is, Do you ever eat breakfast at home?" I asked him. "If I did, you wouldn't have nobody to go to school with." He said tapping my nose with his piece of bacon.
After eating some bacon and fruit, I grabbed a piece of toast and got up. "Let's go." I told Kai. "I'm ready." He said getting up kissing my mom on the cheek and thanking her for breakfast as always. "Bye, have a good and productive day you two." My mom told us as we headed out the door and into Kai's car.

"Buckle up." Kai said as I finished hooking up my Aux cord and heading to my playlist on my phone, like I always do in his car. I put my seat belt on and looked at Kai. "Are you happy now?" I asked him. "Very." He said as I turned up the music singing my jam.

I sung while holding Kai's water bottle pretending like it's a microphone.
"You coming to my practice?" Kai asked looking over at me, than back on the road. "Don't I always." I answered with a wink.
"Cool, just checking." He said pulling up at our school and parking in the students parking area. We hopped out and headed for the school door.
