"So what time is Aunt Roe flight?" I asked my mother as she and my big sister Alana sat in the kitchen talking. Aunt Roe is my mom's younger sister. She's more like a big sister to my sister and I, we both absolutely love her. "She should be getting in at about 11am" My mom replied. I can't wait I did a little dance in my stool.
"Um Jayda how about you help your big sister unpack the rest of her stuff" Alana said eyeing me funny while my mom wasn't looking. "Okay I'm not doing nothing else" I got up and followed her upstairs. "So whats up sis cause I know you don't want me going thru your luggage."
"I'm late." "You late for what, where you going?" I asked her. "I'm not going anywhere I'm late, late." "Ohhh late lateee." I said now catching on. "Did you take a test?" I asked her. "Keep your voice down, and no I didn't I'm nervous as hell." "Its probably just stress you've been doing a lot" I reassured her. "Yeah you may be right." Alana said nervously biting her lip. "We can still get a test just to be sure, but I think your good." I told my sister giving her a smile. "Yeah you right just don't bring up nothing about it till then." "You know I won't."
"So enough of me what's up with you?" She asked while sitting at the head of her bed. "Nothing much I'm excited to see what all comes with senior year." I said joining her on her bed. "Yeah it'll go by fast, but I'm sure you'll love it. You still wanna model? She said. "Yeah I really do." "You been building up your portfolio?" "Nah not like I should." I said knowing I could honestly do better. "Well why not, what are you wanting for? You know my new line coming out, and I have the makeup line about to come out you can be doing some work with me." "Really you know I'd love to do that!" I said excitedly throwing my hands around her neck. "Well you better get on that practice. I gotta guy that I do some work with, he was just telling me he was training his brother to do photo shoots. I can see if he can get you in." "Yes please I need the motivation!" I told her. "Okay, I'll hit him up." Alana said.
After eating dinner Alana and I got ready for bed and decided to do our sisterly sleep over. We both climbed in her bed watching our favorite movies and laughing until we fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up to the smell of breakfast, and the sounds of laughter. Before going down stairs I went across the hall to my bathroom, and did my morning routine. Heading into the kitchen I saw my mom and Aunt Roe dancing, and cooking breakfast as Alana recorded them laughing. Auntie Roe I squealed as I ran over to her. "I thought you weren't coming until later." "Hey Jayda baby, I got a earlier flight!" She said squeezing me tight.
After mom and Aunt Roe finished breakfast we all ate and caught up. "So where's Aubrey I thought he'd be coming Aunt Roe asked Alana. "He had some business to do but I think he'll make it for the dinner tomorrow though" Alana responded. We were having a big dinner tomorrow just to have some family time and eat some good food.
"So good news" Alana said looking up to me from texting on her phone. "Kyle said you can come today for a session, his brother is free!" Alana told me sounding all excited." "Really today!" "Yeah at 4:00 you better start getting ready soon" she advised me.
