Since Day One

You about ready to go home, or you staying forever?" I asked Jayda. "Yeah I guess it is time to go, its getting pretty late." She said. She grabbed her things, and I grabbed my phone, keys, and wallet. She told my parents thanks again and bye, and we headed out. On the car ride to her house was quiet. We were cruising just listening to oldies but goodies. We pulled up in her drive way, and I put my car in park. "Thanks for the fun day." She turned in her seat hugging me."That's what we do." I told her hugging her back. "Okay see ya later." She said getting out my car. " Alright call me when you get settled." I told her before she closed the door. I waited for her to get into her house and closed the door before I pulled off and headed back home.

*Jayda's House

I headed up the stairs and went to Alana room. I knock on her door twice and opened it. I popped my had in and told her I'm home. "Okay goodnight." She said as I left out.

*Alana's Room

I went across the hall to my room and put my backpack down and took off my shoes. I went into my bathroom and turned the shower water on. I undressed, putting the clothes I had on in my dirty clothes hamper. I hopped in the shower washed myself real good, rinsed off and got out.

*Jayda's Bathroom

I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. I walked into my room and went into my drawer. I pulled out a white tank top pajamas set to sleep in. I lotioned up with my Shea butter body lotion, than put on my pajamas. I grabbed my phone and my remote to my TV and pulled back my covers and got into bed.

Like clock work it was a soft knock on my door. "Yes." I said. My dad stuck his head in smiling. "Hello Princess." He said walking over to my bed sitting. "Hi daddy." I said happy to see him. I was close to both my mom and dad, and I loved them both equally. But I was such a daddy's girl I always been. "How was your day baby girl?" My dad asked me." It was good daddy. School was okay. I went to Kai's and we did our homework together after school."You and that boy." My dad said. "Well baby girl I had a long day at work today, I'm tired. Im about to get ready for bed just came to say goodnight baby girl." My dad said as he got up and kissed my forehead. "Goodnight daddy." I told him as he left out my room pulling my door up behind him.

*Jayda's Room

I grabbed my remote and turned the TV on. I left it on Family Matters, and turned the volume down low. I grabbed my phone and laid back and called Kai.

"Hello." He answered. "Wake up." I told him. "I'm not sleep, just looking at the highlights on ESPN." He said. You need to be sleep you gotta rest up for that game tomorrow." I told him. "Nah I'm good, what took you so long to call me?" He asked. "I had to get ready for bed. I showered and stuff and talked to my dad a little bit." I told him. "Oh okay." He replied yawning.

"You better cheer for me loud tomorrow or imma fight you." He told me. " I'm bringing pom poms and I'm wearing that little cheerleader outfit to, I'm going all out." I said laughing. "Cool, since you going all out when I win I wanna see you do a back flip and bust that split than." Kai said making me laugh and he joined me. "What you laughing at that hard?" I asked. "You." Kai replied. "Whatever big head. Go to bed, imma see you when you get here in the morning." I told him. "Nah, why you hanging up stay on the phone with me till we fall asleep." He said. "Goodnight just in case I fall asleep first." Kai said making kissy nosies in the phone. I did the same back to him and we just talked until I don't remember, sleep took over.
