(Logan's POV)

I was extremely grateful for my heated blanket that I brang with me this weekend. Although, after enjoying the warmth of it for a little while, I felt the part on my waist start to slip.

In as small of a movement I could, I grabbed what I assumed was my blanket, but it felt different this time.

"Awake are we?" Oscar's voice cut thought the air.

Despite being warm a moment ago, I felt myself go cold. I couldn't move. What was Oscar doing here?

In an attempt to 'play it cool' I acted as if I was still asleep. Holding he would think I was just trying to keep warm while sleeping.

Luckily he bought it, as he didn't try to wake me up, but rather giving himself the confirmation.

"Or you're sleeping, that works too I guess," his voice quieter now.

Yet the slight chuckle at the end of his sentence told me otherwise. It was like he could tell I was fully asleep, I mean he most likely could. If what I thought was my heard blanket was Oscar, then he would definitely be feeling my heartbeat. Which was fast, not as fast as when I'm in the car, but close to it.

I felt it beat even faster as I felt Oscar slip his hand under the back of my shirt and seat to draw mindless shapes into my skin. The touch was foreign, but it wasn't new either, and if was definitely welcomed.

After a minute or of that, I could feel myself drifting off back to sleep, yet nothing good lasts forever. As he pulled his hand out of
my shirt, it was hard not to react to the sudden loss of warmth.

Yet he made up for it by kissing the top of my head. Now I'm just praying that he cannot see my face right now. Whilst the loss of heat from his hand made me cold again, the kiss made my whole body feel like it was on fire.

Just as I thought it couldn't get any worse it did. Trying to wake me up, he grabbed my shoulders and slightly shook me. When he realised that wouldn't work, he changed his tactics.

"Lo, wake up," he whispered in my ear.

At this point I decided to reveal I was awake. So opening my eyes, I flashed him a smile that he only returned twice as big and bright.

"Morning Osc," my voice horse and deep.

"Better get up," he said lightly hitting my arm, "we have a race today," He then gets out of the bed, the covers falling off of him, revealing that he wasn't wearing a shirt.

Before my mind had another second to regret the sight in front of me, the blanket is pulled off of me. The cold being extremely more noticeable now. I took that as my sign to go to my own hotel room.

Sarcastically, I thank Oscar before heading back.

In my way out, I notice my arms, wrapped in bandages. See how clean they were, I had to assume Oscar replaced them last night. My memory was hazed and couldn't recall a clear detail.

I hope he didn't see what I did, but considering what I know and the fact that I woke up in his bed this morning, I would have to say he definitely say it.

However, me being delusional as always, I've decided to act as if he never knew. However something was tell me to ask him, yet as I turned around to ask, he was already in the bathroom as I could hear the shower running.

Back in my room, I do the same as Oscar and take a shower. I try to keep my arms out of the water as best I can but every now and then they get wet and sting.

Once I'm done I step out and get dressed in my Williams team kit and throw in the matching jumper. Even thought it was too hot to wear it, 28 degrees, I had to be able to cover my arms. I just needed to wear it for an hour or so till I could take off my bandages and get dressed in my race suit. Then the compression of it would act as makeshift bandages.

As I left my room and walked by Oscar's, he was closing the door behind him. In a singular, non verbal, conversation we decided to carpool together.

The car ride to the paddock was quiet. I was driving and Oscar was in charge of the music. He had connected his phone to my cars Bluetooth and was playing one of his playlist. It wasn't half bad, it was just all house music.

I was honestly enjoying his company and the time we spent driving. However, as I drive through the crowds, I noticed a lot more media than normal. I just assumed it was because Oscar was in the car with me.

I thought I was just going to get asked how I thought today was going to go.

Oh how I was wrong.

"Logan! Logan, over here! Is what Alex is saying about you true?"

If you saw I updated last chapter, no you didn't... kidding, I had to rewrite the 3rd person POV slightly to match up with this chapter.

A slightly longer chapter than normal! I wanted to get to 1000, but my chapters are normally 500 words so.... I also wanted to leave this one on a bit of a cliffhanger.

But what do you all think of the book so far?

This chapter was just a filler but we'll get to the good stuff next chapter or the one after.

In also thinking of adding more songs to the playlist, would you guys like that?

Anyways, enjoy my lovelies!
