(Logan's POV)

Once I had been discharged form the hospital, I got back in contact with James and my media team to set out the next drapes or take. In the mean time, I would be shadowing Oscar.

Meaning I would act as if I was a fan of his, follow him around all day and isolate myself in his hotel room when I couldn't shadow him for whatever reason.

Thankfully, the tv in Oscars hotel room allowed me to watch the race, but it hurt seeing the British Grand Prix go on without me. Seeing how happy the fans were to watch the race made me miss the adrenaline of being behind the wheel of my car. However I know it was for the best to have a break before I did. Besides, it still hadn't been announced to the public I was conscious just yet, I was still waiting on the update about how my media team wanted to go about that.

I couldn't help but smile everyone they showed Oscar's on bored. The way he managed to get the car to do exactly what he wanted it to do never ceases to amaze me. Most night my minds kept me up think about his hands what what they could do. While I know it not the best thing to think about when it comes to your best friend, at this point, me was so much more to me.

Shaking my head to rid of my thoughts, I look back to see in try and proform an undercut on Charles.

Despite a good race pace and strategy from McLaren, Oscar wasn't able to finish in the top three, but rather finished P4. I mean it could have been worse, look at Landos race for example, he DNFed with two laps to go at his home race.

Even with as high as a result as he got, I knew he would be beating himself up for it. So I hand a plan to see that adorable smile on his face again.

Thankfully Oscar would have to do his media duties that would last at least an hour, and due to me not be able to leave this hotel room, I had the number of a Williams employee who was told to fulfill all my demands.

Thankfully they sent a new recruit who knew nothing about my racing behind the scenes, and because of this week had grown quite close, ignoring how he only looked to be around 18 or 19. So when I texted him to come and meet me in Oscar hotel room, he came immediately.

Upon explain what I required him to get exactly how I need it to be, I handed him my credit card without a second thought. I knew if something was to happen to my card, he would call me immediately to let me know, but I knew that wouldn't happen. As a thank you, I told him he could also buy himself something from the store to which de declined at first be eventually gave into after insisting.

Once he left it was gone for me to start to clean up around the room. I would need a clean slate before I could do anything!

I know by the time I publish this, it would have been a while since the announcement, however since I never said anything publicly, I thought I would now.

Danny Ricc was one of, if not the, funniest diver on the grid. As an Aussie myself it hurts to know we won't see three Aussie on the grid next year, but at the end of the day at least we had him for as long as we did.

So in honour for DR...
