Glimmer

"The sun watches what I do,
But the moon knows all my secrets... "

                                        -J.M Wonderland

It's distant glow
From miles away,

Beared a light,

Borrowed,

In a selfless way.

It shone for a moment,
then seemed to be obstructed,

By the clouds in their masses,
Off to some distant dream.
A fated fantasy,
Of what could have been.

It never truly vanished,
Though we saw its faces change,
A brightened new landscape,
From a different range.

Glimmering on the tears,
That had darkened my night.

Seeming to flaunt,
Its flawless light.

Bewitched by the glory,
Of that dazzling sight.

"Doesn't the moon look pretty tonight? "

Thank you....
