Remy and Drea arrive at Tori Williams' office to finalize the remaining details of their wedding. They've already chosen their color schemes, floral arrangements, and table settings, so today's meeting is all about the finishing touches: the guest list, ceremony structure, and last-minute details that will make their day perfect.
Tori's office is a cozy, sophisticated space with large windows letting in plenty of natural light. The walls are decorated with elegant photos of previous weddings she's planned, giving off a polished yet inviting vibe. As Remy and Drea walk in, Tori stands from behind her desk, wearing a tailored cream blazer and offering them both a warm smile.
"Ladies! It's always great to see you. Are you ready to put the final stamp on this wedding?" Tori asks as she motions for them to sit on the plush white sofa facing her desk.
"We're ready," Drea replies with a grin, taking a seat next to Remy. "I think we've gone over every possible detail in my head a hundred times by now."
"I know that feeling," Tori says with a laugh, grabbing her iPad from her desk and sitting across from them. "But I promise you, it's all coming together beautifully."
Tori pulls up her notes and takes a deep breath. "Okay, so, since we've already covered the color schemes, floral arrangements, and table settings, let's talk about the guest list. Have we finalized the numbers?"
Remy exchanges a glance with Drea before answering. "We have, but there were a couple of last-minute changes. We had to add a few more people—Drea's cousins from out of state confirmed they'll be able to come."
"Great," Tori responds, typing a few notes into her tablet. "I'll make sure the catering and seating arrangements reflect the new numbers. How are we looking for total guests?"
"About 160," Drea says, leaning forward slightly "it's a little more than we initially thought."
"Perfect," Tori says, glancing back down at her notes "160 is still very manageable. Now, have you thought about how you want the ceremony structured? Any special requests?"
Drea's eyes light up. "Yes! We want the ceremony to be intimate but elegant. We're thinking of having live music, maybe a string quartet, to play while the guests are being seated and during the ceremony itself. We want something that sets a romantic mood."
Tori types swiftly on her tablet. "That's a beautiful idea. I have a few contacts who specialize in wedding music, including some incredible string quartets. I'll send over some sample recordings for you both to listen to. And for the ceremony itself, are there any special traditions or elements you'd like to incorporate?"
Remy chimes in. "We talked about writing our own vows. We want it to feel personal, like we're sharing a part of ourselves with each other and everyone there. No canned vows."
Drea nods in agreement. "Exactly. We want the ceremony to really reflect us. Nothing too traditional."
Tori smiles warmly. "That sounds perfect. I love when couples add their personal touch to the ceremony. It makes everything more meaningful. I'll make sure the officiant understands that this is a personalized, heartfelt event. Now, let's talk about seating arrangements. Since your guest list is updated, we'll need to adjust the seating chart. Are there any specific requests for who sits where?"
Remy pulls out her phone and opens up a note she had been keeping. "We definitely want our immediate families seated near the front. Drea's parents on the left, mine on the right. And we've got some close friends we want sprinkled around those front tables too."
Drea adds, "Yeah, and we want to make sure there's a kids' table, something fun for the little ones. Maybe near the back so they can play without disturbing anyone."
Tori nods thoughtfully. "That's a great idea. I can arrange for a kids' area with some activities to keep them entertained. We can even have a designated kids' coordinator to make sure they're engaged and having fun while the adults enjoy the ceremony."
Drea grins. "That would be amazing. The last thing we want is bored kids running around."
Tori makes another note. "Done. Now, moving on to the reception. Have you decided on any special dances or moments during the evening?"
Remy looks at Drea, a playful smirk crossing her face. "We have been practicing our first dance. It's going to be epic."
Drea laughs. "Epic might be an overstatement, but yeah, we're going to surprise everyone. We're doing a choreographed dance, something fun and upbeat. We want it to be the highlight of the reception."
Tori raises her eyebrows, impressed. "I can't wait to see that! Do you need any special lighting or effects for the dance?"
Remy nods. "Maybe some soft spotlights. Nothing too crazy, but enough to highlight us during the performance."
Tori makes another quick note. "Spotlights—got it. Now, for the dinner service, have you decided on a seating order, or should I arrange it so that the service flows smoothly? With 160 people, it's important to time everything properly."
Drea thinks for a moment. "Let's go with your recommendation. I trust you to make it seamless. We just want everyone to have a great time without it feeling rushed."
Tori smiles. "I'll make sure everything runs smoothly. We'll stagger the courses to ensure there's enough time for speeches, dancing, and mingling. Speaking of speeches, have you thought about who will be giving toasts?"
Remy glances at Drea, and they both nod. "We've got it covered," Remy says. "Our best friends are handling the speeches—short, sweet, and to the point."
Tori laughs softly. "Perfect. Now, before we wrap up, are there any other details you want to go over? Anything that's been on your mind?"
Drea leans forward, her excitement clear. "Just one thing—we've been thinking about adding a surprise element for the guests. Maybe a late-night snack station or dessert bar toward the end of the night, after all the dancing. Something unexpected but fun."
Tori's eyes light up. "I love that idea. How about a gourmet s'mores station or a mini-dessert bar with custom treats? We could have personalized dessert options that tie into your wedding theme."
Remy grins. "That sounds amazing. Let's do the mini-dessert bar. We want people to remember this wedding for all the little details."
Tori finishes her notes and looks up at them, her face glowing with excitement. "This is going to be incredible. You both have such a clear vision, and everything's coming together beautifully. I'll finalize these details and send over a revised schedule and seating chart by the end of the week. I'll also send you the string quartet options so you can choose the music."
Remy and Drea both stand, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Thanks so much, Tori," Drea says. "We're so excited for the big day."
Tori smiles warmly. "It's my pleasure. I can't wait to see it all come together. You two are going to have an unforgettable wedding."
As they leave Tori's office, hand in hand, Remy looks over at Drea with a grin. "This is really happening."
Drea squeezes her hand. "Yeah, it is. And I couldn't be happier."
