"How...H-"

Dark Pit put a finger to your lips to shut you up. And it did...while at the same time giving your stomach butterflies.

"Shhh! Don't blow my stealth mission! I'm getting you out of here!"

"Did Viridi send y-"

"No time for talk! We have to go!"

Dark Pit handed you your bow. It seems Cragalanche fixed it in time. It was good as new.

"Did you...use thi-"

But Dark Pit took flight. His wings were glowing purple. Who...

You shrugged, following after him.

"Where are we going?"

"The Rewind Spring. Normal wings will help your best chance of escape."

"But isn't that cheating death?"

"I used it to save Pit, didn't I?"

You looked away. He does have a point. "How did you not get caught?"

"I deactivated telepathic communication. Now stop asking me questions!"

You sighed. You guys flew up past the orb of souls, which you still didn't know what it was about, and flew towards the Rewind Spring.

You two landed on the platform, and there it was. A glistening pool of magical water in the middle of the patterned floor.

"Your wings had been torn just yesterday, so you only need to dip them in for a second. And make sure nothing else touches the water. We haven't had much experience with this lake, so you don't want your age to be in...different body parts. I think I might get sick just thinking about it..."

You looked at Dark Pit before kneeling towards the water, and turning yourself on your backside so your wings can submerge in. But it was difficult since your eyes were turned away from the water.

Dark Pit watched you scramble with your situation. It would be amusing to anyone else, but he didn't laugh.

"Need help?"

"Tch, don't be a gentleman."

"You're obviously struggling."

"I can do this by myself, thank you!"

You kept on trying, but no avail. Dark Pit let out a sarcastic yawn. "Ugh, come on already (y/n), I could just-"

Suddenly, there was a rumble. You let out a yell, and Dark Pit ran up to you before your entire body could make contact into the Rewind Spring. He caught you by your scarf and pulled you back up. You panted heavily. That was too close.

"Thanks," you say, "Now to figure out what the heck that was..."

The two of you unsheathed your weapons, Dark Pit with his staff, you with your bow. Then at the moment, Dark Pit let out a yell as well, it being painful. His wings were glowing with familiar blue flames.

"What the?!"

Dark Pit fell flat on his face, and you looked forward at the blue fire hovering above the pool. Suddenly, it grew a scary-looking face with huge almond eyes that were practically malleable, with dilated pink pupils. The mouth was like a beast. It had a ring clasping the top, like a ponytail.

"Pandora," you growled.

"Well, that was short lived," said Dark Pit.

"Indeed it was," said Pandora, "And I am NOT glad to see you again, (y/n)."

"Hope you're ready for my new and improved fighting skills."

The two of you surrounded Pandora and began to fend her off. You two worked together skillfully with your rapid shots and Dark Pit's impressive staff handling. She then turned invisible, which had you confused for a second. Then right behind you came a ball of fire. You didn't have time to react, but Dark Pit did. He blocked it with his blades and deflected it towards a direction away from you.
