The opening of the door shined a light so bright and blinding that the chariot stumbled, causing all three of you to fall out on a stone terrain in the sky.

Dark Pit landed on his feet and caught you in his arms, as he carried you bridal style. You both stared at each other for a moment, before Pit ruined the moment by falling on the ground flat on his face.

"...ow."

You and Dark Pit couldn't help but laugh.

"I'll take the Lightning Chariot from here," said Viridi, "In the meanwhile, head to Palutena, she's be happy to see all of you."

The twins headed forward, but you didn't. You just had your index fingers together, your stomach twisted. Viridi sighed.

"Even you, (y/n). Trust me."

That eased the nervousness off your shoulders a little bit. You followed Pit and Dark Pit into a tower above the clouds.

"Lady Palutena!" Pit called, hugging the Goddess of Light around the stomach, being short. Palutena gave him a warm smile as she pat his back gently.

"Shhh...it's okay. Everything's okay. And what matters most is..."

She looked towards you. "You're here."

Your eyebrows raised. You opened your mouth to speak, but she interrupted you before you could make a sound.

"The rulebook has been altered," she said, "the gods decided that 'if chaos shalt take over, the victim will not have to suffer thy consequences of the Underworld.' You're free from there and you won't have to see Hades again," she booped your nose, "Unless you get to some chaos yourself, teehee."

You chuckled lightly, you were so relieved to know that you were safe from being sent down to heck.

"Oh, and I'll have to change your wings back to white to know that you're in the normal angel status. Just give me a second-"

"Wait, does that mean I'll be a part of your soldiers now?" you asked.

"Of course!" Palutena replied, "You were here in the beginning. It's where you belong...right?"

Your face showed you weren't taking yes for an answer. You looked towards Dark Pit, who looked depressed at the thought as well. You missed Pit, but you knew you would miss his twin more.

Palutena realized. "Oh."

You walked up to Dark Pit, cupping his cheeks in your hands. He raised his hand and wrapped it around your fingers. It felt warm like the last time. His expression looked pained.

"I don't want you to go," said Dark Pit.

"I know," you said, "But hey...maybe we could meet again on the surface, you know? Watch the sun set, maybe run across a flower field..."

"On second thought," said Palutena, "Maybe you could stay in the Forces of Nature."

You widened your eyes at Palutena's suggestion.

"Really?!"

"PLEASE stay!" echoed Viridi, "I said it before! Dark Pit can't be my only officer!"

Palutena giggled. "She's right, you know. Well, what do you say?"

You nodded your head quickly. "Yes! I'll stay! Besides, I prefer my wings this color."

"Then it's settled!" Dark Pit said, smiling with you. He spun you around in his arms. You laughed as you hung onto him. It was like a sweet carousel ride. He carried you in his arms bridal style once again, as you put in your remaining giggles in the process.
