Stacy's POV
That evening at the top of the roof, Andrew was staring blankly at the designer as she tried to come up with something creative for the fashion show
I on the other hand, just watched as she got less and less comfortable under her employer's gaze, I knew I had to do something else he would end up screaming at her
"Why don't we try something else Andrew, you would go down to the room, have a shower and I would stay up here with her and try to help out", I said with a smile
"It's not your business, pricky tongue, I am not leaving here until she's done", he replied in a distasteful tone
"Am I not the one who is gonna wear this clothe that she would come up with, I have the right to assist in the creativeness, you..." I was almost done when he banged his hand loudly by the armrest where his hand was previously laying calmly
"Anastasia Daniels, it. Is. None. Of. Your. Damned. Business." He said between his teeth
"You know I won't let you talk to me like that and get away with it, for heaven's sake, the poor lady is shivering under your gaze and Mr Andrew Wilson, it's every business of mine, why the hell would you bring me to Italy if my opinion doesn't matter in all this, am I not the one whose wearing the design you brought up? Won't I be the to tell if the dress is comfortable on my body?" I asked but I wasn't expecting him to reply
"That's what I thought, just go down to the room, take a shower and you can think about what I just said as you are doing so", I scrutinized him before I walked towards the designer lady. Andrew just thought for a while before he walked away.
"Thank you ma'am", the lady said before breathing out relief
"It's okay, I used to feel pressurized too", I replied as we both tried to come up with something, with occasional laughs and silly comments.
Andrew's POV
I just got into the room and was staring at the bathroom blankly not knowing what to do, this lady that Pascal sent with me is a rogue. What does she think she was doing by shouting him down in that manner. He picked up his phone to call Pascal but the lad beat him to it.
"Hello bro, how are you doing", Pascal said from the other side
"Would have been better if you didn't decide to set me up with a rogue", I said almost screaming at him
"Woah, calm down, who are you talking about, I didn't send anyone over", he said sounding worried
"Send someone over? That would have been better Pascal, anyone is better than this woman I came with, can you imagine she sent me out of the roof, the presence of an employee, Pascal, she.... I, Andrew Wilson! She dared to do such atrocity", I said outrageously
"Someone needs to calm down, you both settled in a single room, right?" He asked and I felt stupified, he was worried about our settlement while am worried about my image
"Is that even important right now Pascal", I asked coldly
"It is, it's the major thing Andrew, I mean, yeah! Who does she think she is treating you like that, I would call her after I hang up but I want to know, you both settled for a room, right?" He asked again
"Yeah, not that I agreed originally but it looks like she conspired with that receptionist and the damned lady gave us a room at the top and the worst is that, it has a transparent bathroom, if I were alone or with Cami then I would have been fine with it but with her?!" I complained effortlessly
"Okay Andrew, the reason I called is to tell you that I have sent the design to you mail, check it and let Stacy do her magic on the runway", he said totally ignoring my complain about this hotel and the whole trip plan
Does he seriously not care that... argh!! Am actively talking and behaving like a nagging female and it's all because of that stupid lady!!
"See what would happen Pascal, the show would be over by this week and am sending her back to New York, no more games and yes... I know that you planned all this shit and am not so happy about it that's why I would book her another hotel room first thing tomorrow morning or better still, I would find somewhere else to be, am done with this perfect masterpiece of bringing us together", I said and disconnected the call
Stacy's POV
Both the designer and I were almost done with finalizing a design for me when my phone rang and it was Pascal, I frowned slightly, I still haven't forgotten that the rascal ruined my whole trip, maybe not totally but he still did
"Excuse me, I have to take this", I said to the lady before answering the call "start explaining, mister", I said to Pascal
"Woah! Looks like today's not a good day, why are you upset", he asked and I rolled my eyes in frustration, is that even supposed to be a question?!
"Look here Pascal, am not interested in whatever big plans you have for both I and Andrew, I can't handle him, he's too bossy, too arrogant, too grumpy and...and...and too stupid for someone who is incredibly handsome, okay! Am done and I want out of this", I said to him
"Calm down Stacy, I know it would be uncomfortable staying within a closed space with him, trust me he can be very unbearable almost everytime but that's when he's with me, am sure you both can work things out", he said sounding weird
"Work things out? What do you mean by that", I asked trying to understand where he is driving at
"He's a man and you're a woman, I don't need to elaborate on this, do I?" He said sounding even more weider!
"I so hope it's not what am thinking about that you're talking of because I would so kill you Pascal!" I yelled at him then I realized that I had a company but when I turned, the lady wasn't there anymore, well she must have left.
"It's far from anything you're thinking Stacy, I want you to be friendly with him, he's a nice guy, you have to believe me on this one, I have a plan and it's not gonna work without your co-operation, please", he said nicely that I had to hold back my next lashing words
"Okay, tell me, what's this plan of yours", I said in a tone of defeat, I can't say no to the guy that has done nothing but help me all through this time.
