The Backup Plan

Back in New York City

Camille's POV

Throwing the phone to the ground in anger, I screamed at the top of my lungs, I knew it!! I just knew that that personal assistant was bad news!!

"What's wrong hon", Drex said rushing to the room

"Everything is ruined!! Everything damned fucking thing is ruined!!" I yelled sitting on the bed

"Hey hey, yelling isn't good for our baby Cam, look, why don't we calm down and explain what's wrong", he said soothingly

"Andrew doesn't want our relationship anymore", I said and he looked confused for a while

"What do you mean by that", he asked

"The relationship that Andrew and I share has been cut off, he said he doesn't want it anymore", I repeated impatiently

"That?...is that supposed to be a problem? We can finally have our lives to ourselves, come on, it's good news", he said pulling me in for a hug but I pushed him away in irritation

"What don't you understand when I said everything is ruined!! We both hate Andrew so much, don't we, he ruined you and me as well, didn't he? We can't just let him go like that", I said

"Look, if Andrew is willing to let you go then I'm willing to forgive him, he was just my business partner afterall, look, this plan has to stop, do you understand, you can't keep being restless in this manner, it's bad for the baby", he said and I pushed him entirely away from myself

"Fuck the baby, Drex, don't you see the gravity of this matter? Are that dumb?! We are both ruined over again if Andrew let's me go because we need him both financially and mentally, selling that company of his could change our lives and here you are asking me to let it go", I said very upset

"Hey... alright, what do you want me to do", he asked and I smiled feeling like he just started making sense

"Oh baby, you know that lady you almost ran over the other day?" I asked and he nodded

"Yeah, the one who that nasty black guy became her savior?" He asked and I pecked his cheek

"That's right darling, it seems that luck ran out of her way, you need to kill her family members, starting from her precious father", I said with a chuckle, oh this is way better than killing her directly

"She has a sister as well, that one attends NYU", he said and I giggled in glee

"Oh, you're such a clever man!! We would have that one kidnapped, make sure the work is done smoothly", I said ruffling his hair and he smiled happily

"What do I get in return", he asked pulling me closer to himself

"A lot of things dear but firstly, her dad then drop every possible way and tricks I can get her sister with or maybe, leave the old man for me, you just go handle the younger sister, hmmn?" I said kissing him lightly on the lips

"You're so sweet and considerate, honey", he said and I smiled

That bitch thinks she can ruin me one more time, let's watch how she feels about losing the ones she loves dearly. As for Andrew, I would patiently wait for him to come back begging for forgiveness because if I had planned to ruin him before then now, I have just made a backup plan that would totally destroy him.

Lucy's POV

"Dad!! You can't keep holding up like that, Stacy would kill me if anything happens to you, okay, why don't we both go inside", I said not letting him stretch one more time

"Just let me be, you're so noisy, you scream a lot", he said snatching his hand from mine

"Alright, suit yourself!! Just don't fall and break something",I said letting him go while I went to sit down and watched him

"Hey, wanna watch some movies tomorrow", came Hazel's text

"Sorry but I have a boyfriend", I texted back with a smile

"Oh I see, now there's no time for girls Friday night", she asked

"Nope but I would be free tomorrow, can I bring a friend", I asked

"Don't tell me you want to bring your boyfriend along", she said and I chuckled

"Nah, it's Nicholas, I'd like for him to join us", I said knowing that she won't refuse because she obviously likes the guy

"Like I care, hope he doesn't bore us", she replied and I laughed

"Yeah, I'm definitely gonna be the only one to be bored, how was your trip", I asked remembering that she said she would go visit her sick granny

"Great, grandma is fine and healthy, she just skipped some of her medicine but she's fine now", she texted and I smiled as I looked at my dad, he seemed to have found peace by dipping his feet into a nearby pool of water.

"Asleep yet?" Came Nick's text and I smiled

"No, I was just talking about you to hazel", I replied

"That pretty friend of yours, you girls aren't sleeping already?" He asked and I chuckled

"You bet, wanna join us for movie night tomorrow?" I asked

"Hope it's not all girl's stuff", he asked in return and I scoffed

"Nah, we would go to a cinema, you could hit on her, she's single and so into you", i texted and he sent a love emoji

"Never a full moment with you!! Definitely coming tomorrow, I would pick you girls up, just say where and when", he said and I laughed

"I would text the address but it would be after school else my sister would send someone to lock me up for skipping class", I texted as I looked at my dad again, he was coming back inside, it was such a relief, now I can get some sleep.

"How would she know if you skip class", he asked

"Trust me, she knows, I just got a crazy idea, why don't we three make a video call", I said and called hazel before he texted back

"That's crazy, I ain't even putting on my makeup to enhance the charm", he replied and I laughed as I added him to the call when hazel picked up

"Alright Lucy, enough of the outside, let's go inside dear", my dad said and I sighed happily

"Hey babe, it's definitely been a week since I saw you...who is the new guest?" Hazel asked and I smiled

"Show your pretty face, fly boy", I said and he only chuckled

"I'm shy, plus I ain't the only one living in my dorm so it's awkward", he said and hazel frowned a little then gasped in surprise

"Is that... Nicholas?!" She whispered as if he won't hear her

"Yup bae, the one and only shy but dashing basketball player of NYU", I said and she blushed, pretty hard

"You're so cruel Luciana, you didn't even hint me, I could have... hi", she said waving awkwardly at him

"Hey Haze", he said finally turning on the lights

"And....she has lost her voice", i said as hazel looked speechlessly at her screen

I knew what she was feeling, the person you've been crushing on for quite a long time now, suddenly gives you attention and is even interested in you in the same manner that you're, well, it's more than overwhelming, hence, the speechlessness.
