Lucy's POV

At NYU

The bell rang and the lecturer said her goodbye which indicated the last lecture I had for the day, I checked the time and it was past three in the evening

"Hey Blondie", Nicolas said as he smiled cutely at me

"Good day to you too bro, didn't see you earlier", I said giving him a hug

"Bro? Cut that crap", he said and I chuckled

"It isn't crap, man, how have you been", I said as we casually hooked hands around each other and walked down the stairs together

"Not as good as you've been, you haven't filled me in about your date night", he said and I nodded expecting him to say something like that

"He turned out to be a great guy, though he's a little bit nerdy but he's definitely my type of person", I said watching his expression but he didn't show anything

"Your type of person? That's cool, I mean, yeah, why not! A pretty girl deserves better", he said with a smile which for the first time didn't reach his eyes

"You aren't upset?" I asked and he laughed

"Upset? About what?", He asked and I shrugged

"I guess...well never mind", I said as my phone rang, it was Pascal

"Hey boo boo bear", I said with a smile

"Does your sister always get angry in the mornings", he asked and I frowned a little not expecting the question

"Yes...why did you ask", I replied

"That explains it then, uhm...I am sorry I got tied down with work, are you free right now?" He asked and I nodded

"Yup, come pick me up", I said with a haughty smile

"Where are you",

"At school, just finished lectures and though am not bored, I want you to meet someone", I said winking at Nike who smiled not too brightly

"Another friend of yours",

"A very good friend of mine",

"A competition?"

"A what?" I asked not expecting it

"A good friend, it's probably a male friend, women don't say good friend when it's a female, I hope he isn't too dashing because the last thing I need is a competition", he said and I scoffed then looked at Nike then at my phone

"Just get over here first, we'd be waiting for you", I said hanging up

Nicola's POV

Broken was an understatement for the condition my heart was in right now, I never thought she would find someone else so quickly but still it was something, I did what I could and if she was to be mine then I guess there was no changing it but if not then why sweat about it.

We both talked casually for hours before the guy who was presumably her new boyfriend showed up

"Hey Lucy", he said with a smile, yeah, this was someone who deserves her better than I do, this guy was handsome.

We both got up as Lucy turned to him with a hug
"Pascal, this is Nicolas, my very good friend and Nicolas, meet Pascal, my boyfriend", she introduced us and he smiled at me

"Nice to meet you, Nicolas", he said flatly before turning to Lucy and I shrugged, I would have done exact same thing if I be in his shoes

"Okay Luce, I'd be heading home, see you tomorrow", I said with a smile, she's happy with him and am not a party pooper, if she's good then I am fine with him

"Already? Alright, good night", she said before hugging me and all those while my eyes was on her boyfriend who seemed not too bothered or maybe his expression was too cold for me to read through

I smiled at him then moved on, life goes on, the Daniels sisters doesn't work for me then I just concentrate on basketball game and let go of women, I snickered, nah, there was no way I was considering that thought, I am too good looking to just waste away plus the fact that I have a great sense of humor, I had to try other girls, I'm into lifetime commitments though.

Pascal's POV

The competition was gone and my nerves calmed a little, I don't hate the guy, I just dislike the feeling that he was close to Lucy

"Pascal?" Lucy called again and I looked at her in confusion

"What's wrong", I asked

"Nicola's isn't your competition, I promise, he's a great guy and all but trust me when I say this, since I got you, I would never let you go", she said and I nodded not too convinced though

" You're my boo boo bear, mine and only mine, not even the devil himself can take you off my arms unless I willingly let go which you can be very rest assured that I won't do", she said wrapping her arms round my neck and I smiled, now that was an assurance I can hold on to

"Till today I have only trusted documents contracts but today, I can take the risk of trusting words only", I said maybe not in my right State of mind, yup, now I understand why Andrew acts senseless, this feeling was totally not something I can control, it has a mind of its own.

"We could go clubbing tonight babe, I got a whole lot of clubs to introduce you to, also you must be familiar with hotels, right?" She said pulling me down enough for us to touch our forehead

"Lucy, we are outside and everyone can see us", I said as a reminder in case she was forgetting

"Oh, are we? Of course I know that, you dumb head, I have a hot and dashing boyfriend, why not show him off so that the other ladies would keep to their limits, am dominant in nature baby boo", she said pecking me in the lips

"You're shameless", I whispered taking her hands off my neck

" Am cute too, am I not?", She asked and I nodded

"No doubts about that", I replied with a smirk

"So, you took my sister to Italy along with her number one star and you think she won't come home pregnant or maybe even better, with a marriage plan, this is insane", she said to my surprise, it's either this girl reads minds or she's just so smart

"How did you come up with that idea", I asked and she shrugged

"It's typically the reasonable thing that can...wait, did you...?" She asked and I shakes my head

"No, I didn't, well, it's a plan but not the pregnancy one, just the marriage part", I said and she nodded

"My sister getting married to a big shot and I, on the other hand, date another big shot, this is delightfully to my taste", she said as we drove off from the university.
