Nicola's POV
It can totally be said that today is the best day of my life!! Oh my goodness, she kissed me!!
Well we didn't really talk after that because she looked hysterical and I won't say anything to spoil the precious moment
"You sad Lucy?" I asked and she turned away
"Am so unlucky Nick, am so unlucky", she said in the saddest tone I did ever had from someone
"Hey, what do you mean by that, am a great guy, I promise you that", I said turning her to face me and she chuckled still very sad though
"It's not that silly, I just... you know", she then shrugged it off not feeling sure of opening up to me
"Yeah, I feel like that almost everytime, having a twin sister who's better than me at everything, not having a good social life because am intentionally avoiding everyone and topping it up, I don't have a girlfriend because am afraid to approach any girl for that kind of friendship", I said to make her open up to me, I can't stand looking at her face being so sad
She sighed as she started walking away, I was surprised, opening up first usually works but I guess what I said wasn't close to what made her sad
"Stacy is a great sister and all but sometimes I just wish I could be like her, you know, I feel jealous of her and I also feel guilty for feeling like that", she finally said just when I felt that she wouldn't talk to me
"How exactly is this sister of yours, what does she do that makes you want to be like her", I asked rushing forward to catch up with her
"Can we talk somewhere else", she said and I nodded almost immediately
"Affirmative, I know a few places but am not as broadened as you are when it should come to the city so if you suggest a place, we go there", I said with an assuring smile
"We could go to Oscar's place or maybe taccombi?" She said and I smiled
"Oscar's sounds great Lucy but I was hoping to try some Italian restaurants, guess what, we talk at Oscar's and I take you out for dinner at soothr restaurant", I said with a smile
"You silly, soothr is a Thai restaurant not Italian", she said with a smile as she got me playfully on the chest
"New foods are new foods, trying them out is the best experience, drop your address and I would ring you up by six this evening", I said with my usual African flirting tone
"Are everyone in your hometown so sweet like you", she asked with that usual smile finally sparking in her eyes
"You can tell, right?" I asked with a chuckle and she shakes her head fondly
"You're lucky you aren't white, boy, am so glad I met you", she said and you know everything in my body saw this statement as a green light.
"Black guys are the best babe", I said and she nodded
"Won't argue on that one Nick, I would like to visit one day", she said and I smiled
"Just say the world and I would personally take you on a tour round my hometown", I said and she laughed throwing her head back, well her laugh was addictive
"When am ready, I promise, I would tell you", she assured me and I smiled widely, I just hope it won't be on a really rough day for me.
