Hazel's POV
"The haunted house is worth the ticket", Nicholas said waving the tickets in his hand as we walked out of the paying booth
"It's a horror movie!! That's what I have a problem with, I'm sure that Lucy would also have a problem with it", I said in assurance, there was no way my friend won't defend me in this situation
We both came out to an empty parkway, I was surprised for one as I thought that she might have gone to do something she and Nicholas planned but I became worried when he also seemed to be surprise.
"Where's Lucy?" I asked not expecting an answer but Nick silently scanned the area before he shaked his head
"Damn!! Damn!! Hey, stay here or call for help, that driver seems to know some tricks", he said while hurriedly entering the car and zooming off
I was confused as I looked around, ask for help over what, they both brought me out for a movie and now, they've both left me in an unknown location and here I was being asked to ask for help. I looked around and found Lucy's phone up ahead and I rushed to it.
Looking at the cracked screen, I knew what help I needed to ask for, my friend has being taken away forcefully because there was no way, Lucy would let her phone screen be cracked in this manner, she hated it.
I turned the phone on and thankfully it switched on, knowing her password as her best friend, I went to her call log and it was her dad that she called last, I didn't want to bother the old man then the next person was her boyfriend, yes!! That guy could really help.
"Hey babe, I'm in the middle of something, we would talk later", he said and I shaked my head impatiently
"Someone had kidnapped your babe!" I yelled and he didn't say anything for a while
"Who is this", he asked
"This is hazel, her best friend, we went to a cinema then I entered to buy us tickets but when I came out, it was only her phone I found on the ground, she has been taken away!" I said
"Damnit!" He swore as he was quiet, maybe he was doing something
"Do you have the plate number or did you see anybody or anything that looked suspicious", he asked and I was surprised.
If we are in a crime movie, isn't this the same question that the kidnapper would ask so as to know if anyone suspected anything and again, it was wise for me not to say all I knew for now.
"No, I didn't see anyone, I just picked up the phone and called", I said which was literally what I did
"Alright, talk to you soon", he said in a hurry, he didn't even disconnect the call before he left
"Hello?" I called severally but since no answer, I disconnected the call myself.
Nicholas' POV
This was so fucked up, there was no way that driver caught up with us, no!! I practically did what a tactful driver would do but he still caught up.
No, it's not possible, I didn't even know that he was following us so as to kidnap Lucy, this is a total mess. Unless this was carefully planned. Yes, it couldn't have been the same car that took Lucy because the one I'm currently pursuing doesn't have the same plate number but it was the same white Royce.
My phone rang and I would have ignored it if I didn't see the name 'lucy' on the caller's Id,
"Hey Nick, I found her phone on the ground, I called someone I know would help, have you seen anything", came Hazel's voice and I was disappointed
