Gregor looked over his title. Alice and tywin had been back and forth on this since jaime had joined the kingsguard and decided it was for life. Yes tywin for life.

"You named me..." gregor stared back at his mother before looking to tywin.

"Jaime is kingsguard you are my next eldest son." Tywin remarked. "Im proud to give you this title gregor." Gregor stood speechless.

Heir to casterly rock.

"What about the little lord?" Gregor questioned after a long moment.

"He is not my next eldest. He is my youngest son." Tywin gave Gregors shoulder a squeeze. "Do you accept? I hope to live a long life but you should start learning the ways of the rock. The meetings and the -"

"I have to sit through meetings?"

"And petitions as warden of the west."

"What if..." gregor hesitated

"What baby?" Alice urged.

"What if i dont want that responsibility? I mean im grateful really. Its an honor but... what if im not good at being a leader." Gregor countered. "I dont want all those people looking to me. Waiting for me to fail."

"Gregor i had you leading troops-"

"You what? My baby! The front lines! Tywin!" Alice shouted

"You did amazing they all looked up to you. Followed you into battle-" tywin went on.

"I dont think i want to hear this." Alice decided.

"Im safe ma." Gregor reminded her. "It was a long time ago."

"But still you two had me thinking you were safe not leading armies and front and center for the targaryen army." Alice declared.

"Alice. Back on point please my beloved." Tywin suggested

"Yes yes just let me think the worst while i look at him safe and sound."

"You did amazing-"

"On the battlefield." Gregor confirmed

"Managing the west is no different. Less bloodshed but still exhilarating at times." Tywin assured. "What do you say?" Gregor looked to alice

"I think under tywins tutelage you can be the best warden of the north and lord of casterly rock." Alice confirmed.

"Then I suppose i accept." Gregor agreed. "Can sandor be my squire?"

"Gregor!"

Cersei had ravened. She wanted her mother here for the babys arrival. Jaime personally delivered the letter glad to have a home cooked meal from alice- bonus for coming home.

" so glad to have you home." Alice declared putting a second helping onto jaimes plate

"Glad to be home. Castle food is nothing like your cooking mum." Jaime added.

"And you missed us." Alice encouraged kissing the top of his head

"I missed you." Jaime confirmed. "Father less so. You havent brought up me leaving the kingsguard and taking my rightful position yet. Have you quit on me?"

"I have replaced you." Tywin confirmed.

"Tyrion?"

"Gregor." Tywin corrected. Gregor nodded sitting to tywins left. Alice took her spot at tywins right beside her sat tyrion she reached over wiping his face of supper.

"Well deserved." Jaime agreed.

"Thanks." Gregor answered as tyrion yawned.

"Someone is tried." Alice realized

"Am not." Tyrion objected

"Pjs and story time?" Alice countered tyrion jumped up running off happily.

"Race you mama!"

Tywin grabbed her arm as she got up.

"Dont be too long my love." Tywin requested she leaned down kissing his lips.

"Race you to bed." She confirmed letting her hand drag along his back as she passed.

"You are still so lovestruck smitten with mum." Jaime realized.

"There is no remedy for my aching heart except holding alice in my arms."

"Any day now." Alice remarked fondly cuddling up into tywins chest. "We will be grandparents."

"Goodness we are old." Tywin agreed kissing her temple. Nails dragging feather light along her back touching the vertebrae along her neck sending a shiver through her.

"Speak for yourself. I could go another round." She dragged her hand down his chest

"Well me too."

"Really?" She purred.

"Just give me a few minutes to catch my breath." Tywin urged.
