POV: Hayden

"Hayden! I Love you Hayden Onyx! Wahh!" The crown screams as I leave the stage. We had a little local concert tonight. I take my shirt off wiping the sweat off my face. "Fuck! Will one of you please tell Winnie the only thing I've drank tonight is water?" Malcolm complains looking down at his phone. "I got you, bro! Dear Winnie the only thing Any of us have drank tonight is the sweat from the awesome show we just rocked. How's that?" Liam says.

"You're an idiot." Blake punches his arm. "Ok, ok fine. I cross my heart and swear on my long lost sister wherever she may be, Malcolm did not drink tonight. He is completely sober." Liam corrects. "You're still an idiot," Blake says throwing a french fry at him.

I chug down a whole bottle of water as if I were dying of thirst. "Great show guys. I'm loving the new song. The fans love it. That must have been one hell of a birthday, Hayden." Grace appears. "Yeah, it was," I say.

I don't think I will ever forget Sapphire. I can't tell you how many dreams about her I've woken up from. I wrote a few songs about her. She was like a muse. She almost made me feel alive. I thought I felt alive until that one night with her.

I remember giving her my number but I don't think I got hers. I did look to be sure but no I did not. I've secretly been wishing she would call me. It is best she doesn't though We can never be. That girl is way too young for me.

"Yeah, and they'll love his newest one, Sapphire Eyes. I don't know who she is but she gave him sparks." Blake says. I may be working on another one called Sapphire Eyes

"Wow, maybe we should see about finding this girl. I mean if she's become your muse just off of one night then just think what would happen if you had a few more days with her. You might be able to write an entire album just about her." Grace says. "Eh um, yeah no, that's not such a good idea. I don't even remember her name." I lie. I will never forget her name.

"Are you sure? I feel like for someone to make such an impact on you, you would at least remember her name." Grace says not buying my lie. "I was a little distracted getting laid by her to get her name." I lie again. "Wow, is that all it was about was a good lay. I could have found any girl in the city for you to do that with." Grace complains.

The truth is it wasn't about the sex at all. Sapphire was special, though I don't quite know what that special is. I just know she wasn't like any other girl I had ever met. At every concert, I look for her face hoping to see her one day.

"Whatever, when's the car getting here? I'd like to finish writing those songs you oh so graciously want." I tell her. "In fifteen, be ready." Grace rolls her eyes. I pull out my phone to check if I missed any texts or calls. Sometimes my mom would call to wish me luck during a concert.

When I unlock my phone I see I have a few missed text messages but only one of them jumps out at me for some reason. I'm not sure why an unknown person's text would stand out to me but it does. I open it to see what it's about.

I almost freeze at reading it. It's from her. Saphhire actually texted me. Dread fills me because I will have to make things clear to her that we can never be together. It's wrong. I'm over ten years older than her. She wants to meet. No, needs to. Why? Should I go for it? I mean I have been secretly wishing she would do this.

Maybe I just need some closure from that night. I go for it. That girl was like a fucking drug to me. I need to see what she wants. I reply to the text.

'Yeah, I remember you. May I ask what this is about? I'm free tomorrow.' I'm not waiting any longer than I have to. I need to see her. I feel like an addict who is going through withdrawal and she is my only fix to cure it.

"You seem offaly giddy suddenly. What's up?" Liam asks noticing my new attitude. "What, I'm not. I just got a booty call is all." I lie though it is a very believable one. "Mmm, have fun," Liam says patting my shoulder. I can't wait to see Sapphire again.
