It was an exhausting event but full of cheer. I couldn't have been happier seeing Adhvita enjoy it fully. The way she laughed and danced was a sight that I wanted to behold in my eyes for the rest of my life.

All the guests retired to their respective rooms to get changed for the evening event and so did we. Adhvita came out showering with a towel wrapped around her while I was sitting at the edge of the bed patiently waiting for her. She removed the claw clip, letting her locks fall on her shoulders that she had initially tied up to keep them from getting wet.

She came and sat on my lap putting her arms around my neck. I nudged my face into her front, inhaling the scents off of her.

"Should we start getting ready?" She asked moving her fingers in my hair and I hummed against her towel.

"Just few more minutes," I muttered.

"You look tired jaan," I heard her voice while I tightened my arms around her waist.

"Hm. A little." I was feeling drained out for some reason but didn't put much thought to it. It could've been because I didn't sleep all night and on top of that the exertion of all the wedding events may have added to it.

"Well the good thing is that you don't have to do much for tonight's event," she said, and I took my face out to look at her. She thinned her eyebrows descrying my face.

"You sure you okay Saanjh?" She placed her palm against my cheek and began swaying her thumb over it for some comfort. "Your eyes. You look so exhausted, not just a little."

Taking her hand that was on my face, I placed a kiss on it. "Could be just the wedding exhaustion."

"Yeah either that or the evil eyes of all the women and aunties that were eyeing my Saanjh when he was looking so charming while dancing." She let out a light laugh.

"Abhi cheez hi dekhne wali hai, wo bhi kya kar sakti hai," I said letting out a chuckle.

(Now I'm worth looking at then why won't they.)

"True that," she pinched my nose. "I even overheard one of the aunties asking if you were married or not."

"You should've told her that I'm still unmarried and looking for a bride," I said that dropped her jaw.

"How rude Saanjh," she slapped my chest playfully. "You are thinking of finding a bride when I'm right here."

"No woman even crosses my mind other than you, forget marrying someone else," I leaned in closer to her lips and kissed her lightly. "Let's get ready love or we'll get late," I said, and she slid off my lap. I got busy in getting ready while she changed into her outfit. She wore her white suit with silver work on it and I wore a green kurta.
