There were days where Louise got along with her three cousins, and when she did, everyone was happy around them. It was hard to even try to be in the same room as them, thinking they're more superior than her because of all the things they have and she doesn't.

Carina seemed to be the only one who truly cared for Louise out of the three, making sure Louise wouldn't feel left out. She knew she was like her aunt cissy, and how when her mother was younger, cissy and Nora were unstoppable.

"How come you haven't had tea in a while with moody?" Carina asked, she and Louise playing wizards chess on the ground of the common room, using the table. "Last time I went to him, he started crying the moment he saw my face. Said he cant have tea with the kids anymore." Louise told her, Carina making a move.

"That's too bad, I heard he also took care after Luna Lovegood a little bit too." Carina pointed out, Louise shrugging her shoulders.

Silenced waved over them, seeing the boys come in, elara and Millie behind them as well. "Mother sent our clothes sister." Said Draco, unwrapping it in front of everyone.

"For what?" Louise asked, Carina getting up to open hers. "The Yule ball of course." Elara said, Draco handing hers as well.

"The what?"

"Bloody hell, Potter! It's the Yule ball, it happens on Christmas Eve. It's basically like the Pureblood balls." Said Theo, Louise widening her eyes.

Watchinf the girls open their boxes to beautiful yet simple ball gowns, both white and green. "I don't remember having this in my closet." Said Elara. Louise and Millie looking at each other in confusion.

"I'm sure your parents know too, everyone's parents are sending things to wear." Carina told Louise in a soft tone, reassuring her.

"Fourth to seven year students, you are required to head down to the great hall." Said Snape, coming into the common room, Louise thinking it'd be about the Yule ball.

"Should we send a letter to my mum?" Millie asked, Louise nodding at that. "We have tons of dresses like that at home. She'll just need to aparate there and back, shouldn't be a problem." Louise told her, everyone heading down to the great hall, a record player already playing some music.

"Professor if you're about to teach us how to dance, we already know how." Said Pucey, Louise sitting down on the girls side with Carina, Millie and Elara. "I understand Mr.Pucey but to those who don't, we have to do this, as much I don't want to." Snape sassed, Louise fixing her skirt.

"Miss.Potter, Mr.Nott, you two will be our examples." Snape said, Louise standing up, Theo smiling at her. "Now, for the Yule ball, you'll be placing your hand on her hip." Snape said, theo looking at Louise for consent first.

Both clearing their throats and ignoring awkward eye contact, Louise looked over to the girls making fun of her, knowing the boys were doing it to Theo as well. "Miss.Potter you'll be holding Mr.Notts hand and he will be leading the waltzing."

Louise had been to a number of ball dances, Blaise being her partner most of the time, Theo and her in sync together. "Not so bad potter." Theo teased, Louise trying to not smile.

"Not so bad yourself, Nott." Louise teased back, both using surnames instead of their actual names. "Question professor." Asked Theo, Snape uncrossing his arms.

"Are we allowed the twirl our beautiful date for the Yule ball?" Theo asked, Snape looking at them. "Everyone find a partner and practice. I will not have house do worse than the Gryffindors." Snape said, everyone getting up.

"You should ask out Millie for the ball." Louise told Theo, the boy raising an eyebrow. "Really?" He asked, Louise nodding her head.

"Gotta ask someone, you don't want to be without a date." She told him, Theo thinking about it. "But who will you go with?"
