Narcissa Malfoy, to some she was the best parent towards her children, to others, she has been parenting kids since she could even walk and talk, babying her three favourites before they grew up.Nora, Regulus and Sirius, all being so different and alike at the same time. Thankfully she was very close to Nora's children, was a strong mother figure in their life when they wanted her, getting to see Harry in the final task.
She was lucky enough to even come, lucius forcing her to stay home, but she couldn't listen to him, not when he was about to put their family in danger again. She didn't know it yet, but she knew he was doing something suspicious to gain attention from the dark lord.
"Thanks for inviting me Severus." Narcissa said, the two walking together towards the maze. "I've been having to tolerate with all of them; I needed someone sane." Severus said, gesturing to James and Atticus always being around the school for Harry and Louise.
"Well can you blame them? If it were my babies I wouldn't be able to sleep." Narcissa said, frowning when she saw Louise talking to her kids, the three laughing with each other.
"Hi kids." Narcissa smiled, coming over as her two kids smiled at their mother, Louise hugging her aunt. "Your father couldn't come." Narcissa said to the twins, Carina scoffing.
"No surprise there." Carina mumbled out, Louise looking at her two cousins before looking back at Narcissa. "Where's your father?" Narcissa asked, Louise pointing to all of the professors and some parents that wanted to watch.
"Okay, you three behave." She said, walking over to James and smiling at Sirius. "Cissy." Sirius said, the girl not expecting to be pulled into a hug, Remus winking at her as the two stopped hugging.
"Where's Lucy?" Sirius teased, Remus sighing at the nickname. "Lucius didn't want to come, he's a party pooper like that." She said, Sirius impressed with the words she was using.
"I see." Sirius said, Narcissa turning and hugging James, giving him an extra long hug. "Harry is going to be okay, just deep breaths." She told him, James clearly appreciating that.
"Thanks cissy, your kids surprisingly said hi to me." James teased, Narcissa taking off her hood, showing off her white and black hair.
"Yeah they can be nice, they are part me." She said. "And part Lucius, I don't even recall the lad smiling." Said Atticus, side hugging her as Betty smiled at the girl.
All the parents began to sit in the professors section, Narcissa a little worried for the outcome of this, noticing mad eye moody nowhere to be found. James was allowed to stand with his som, as Dumbledore announced each champion, Louise screaming the loudest for her brother, the only one— other than Millie in the Slytherin section.
Louise couldn't help but stare at the parent for a moment, everyone clapping for every single student. She couldn't bear to look at Harry, scared for him in every single way possible.
Her stomach was uneasy, feeling the need to puke in order to feel better. The moment Harry went into the maze, she couldn't protect him anymore.
It was just her and her thoughts, which was even scarier.
"So we're just supposed to sit here and wait?" Louise asked the Slytherins, all of them staring blankly at one another. "I say we play a game." Said Millicent, rubbing Louise's arm.
"I spy! I'm very good at that game." Said Theo, suggesting to go the group. Everyone seemed on board for the game, wondering how else they were gonna entertain themselves while staring at a maze with little to no commentary.
Louise needed to distract herself, deciding to go first and make it challenging as she continued to stare at the maze before she looked away. Professor Moody seems on edge, drinking something out of his flask, eyeing him as she turned to see Hannah abbot with her pink scrunchie.
