It was then that Zinnia took her weapon and charged at Bolete, who narrowly managed to evade the blow, catching him by surprise and causing him to lose concentration, thus breaking the zone he had formed. «You kids are interesting, you found the wrong note and managed to escape.»

«I will use this to one day be like my mother!» Zinnia shouted with a big smile.

«Heh, that's the plan, kid. Now get ready, here comes the deep note.» Bolete said with a sinister smile.

Meanwhile, Vanilla was having fun the entire time. Her body seemed to make erratic movements that ended up dodging every ability, something that didn't make sense to Sage. Vanilla's bracelets were producing bubbles that she used to jump on and dodge or deflect attacks.

«This makes no sense; you move without any reason and still manage to dodge everything. How much luck do you have?» Parnelle said.

«Luck?! Hahahaha!» Vanilla just seemed to enjoy herself even more. From her bracelet, she took out a hat, and from that hat, she brought out a group of five slimes.

These purple slimes initially seemed harmless and even a joke to the rest of the students, as they are considered the weakest beasts. At least that's what they thought until the slimes started launching small darts that Vanilla had given them. These darts, covered in the slimes' mucous interior, had a non-lethal paralyzing poison.

«Luck doesn't exist, everything is based on a great number of possibilities and actions with an obvious reaction. All my movements, which seem irrational to you, move me to a calculated point where your attacks don't hit me. I don't move randomly; everything has a reason in the equation of life, which I like to call THE DANCE OF LIFE!» said the little girl, raising her hands and enjoying the moment.

Several members of Sage's group seemed to fall paralyzed, so Sage managed to cover herself with a magical barrier made with old magic.

Excited, Vanilla said to Sage, «You use old magic impressively, that's great! I hardly know anyone who can make a magic barrier with old magic so quickly, you are impressive.»

«Thanks... I guess?» Sage was incredulous at Vanilla's words.

«Really, I can use both types of magic, but it's still hard for me to use them alone. That's why I have my two terrasphere bracelets; with one, I can use an old magic spell, and with the other, I can perform new magic more easily. I made them myself, isn't it amazing? I also made some things for the rest of my best friends.»

The number of things Vanilla can do is indeed admirable, Sage does not deny that. However, she feels frustrated because, all this time, the rabbit girl hasn't used either type of magic.

«What's wrong? Don't you plan to attack with your magic? Do you just let your pets handle everything while you dodge? Aren't you a mage? Or don't you fully trust your ability?»

Vanilla seemed puzzled by the comments, but then she let out a small laugh...

«HuHuHu, what's the point of using my magic if everything will end quickly? I want to have fun.»

Fear...
