"If the life hit you once... it will hit you twice..."
Two months after the incident at High Guardian Academy in Lyngarth, the professors announced that classes could resume. The High Guardian Spice girls improved their guardian suits with Parsley's help. They did not show any external concern except for Thyme, who was still worried about her father and the rot...
«You know, being idle for 2 months was partly boring, but I won't lie, I had fun with the outings we had and the occasional sleepovers. » said Rosemary as she walked happily.
They all seemed to agree in their own way, to which Parsley added, «It was fun, except for the sleepover at my house, where we played warriors with my brothers, used ketchup to simulate wounds, and a pair of guards arrived worried because they really thought there were injured people. It was a tricky situation to explain, even my father was scared when he arrived hahaha...»
The group began to laugh nervously and calmly, remembering what had happened, except for Thyme who looked puzzled.
«Wait, besides our casual outings, you didn't do anything else? You didn't train or anything? »Rosemary and Sage shook their heads, indicating they hadn't done anything else, while Parsley simply nodded.
«There was no need, Thyme. The two months were for resting. The teachers themselves said so, it was an early winter break. » said Rosemary, followed by Sage.
«I didn't train either. I read a few books of new magic, but that was it. Nothing special. Cousin Aloe's food had Rose and me hypnotized, Hehe. » This caught Parsley's attention, who just raised an eyebrow and smiled.
«Girls, it's okay to rest. After all, it was our vacation, but it's not bad to train a little bit, especially after the recent events with Mandrake and... Olive...» The atmosphere changed drastically for the group as they reached the doors of the academy...
«Will she be okay? I mean, she wasn't really bad. She just had the mission to observe. She didn't really want to hurt us. »
Rosemary spoke with a somewhat low spirit, each of the girls seemed to be lost in their own thoughts, with Thyme being the only one to speak at that moment.
«Look, from my point of view, she got herself into this. Her orders changed in the end, and that's something she should be aware of. Justice applies to any act of evil, no matter how small... but if you want something to make you feel better, look at it this way: if she is truly remorseful, she will be able to move forward, and those who sent her won't be able to hurt her. »
They were all standing at the doors of the academy. After listening to Thyme's words, they felt a sense of relief in the air. She was right; whoever sent Olive wouldn't be able to harm her now, wherever she was in the country of Scarborough...
Silence fell as they stood at the entrance. Nervously, in the background, a peculiar blonde girl could be seen approaching.
The girls looked for a few seconds without saying anything, and she began to observe them as well. No one said anything. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, but... doubt lingered in the air...
«HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET BACK, ZINNIA?!» exclaimed Rosemary, receiving a nervous laugh from the girl...
A little while later, it was appropriate for the students of High Guardian Academy to think that after a couple of months, they would resume their classes as usual. However, they noticed something peculiar: they were all in the same class for the first period.
«Wow, this is strange. I remember our first-period classes were mixed, but now I see we've all been grouped together for ethics. » said Parsley. Amaryllis, equally curious, replied.
