NOW LET'S START...

I sat in a chair at the café, its atmosphere pleasant, the soft aroma of coffee filling the air. Everything about the café seemed perfect and peaceful—except for me. My expression was one of pain, like a kicked puppy who had lost her home, and my wide, doe eyes were brimming with tears.

I glanced at the man beside me, his face still holding that same arrogant expression I had seen for the past six years. Yet, despite his indifference, I knew my tears were affecting him—maybe just a little.

"Fuck," he cursed suddenly, making me flinch. Without another word, he harshly grabbed my chin with his rough hands, pulling me closer and pressing his lips to mine. I whimpered at the forcefulness of his kiss. He sucked and bit at my lips repeatedly. I tried to push him away, but my strength was no match for his well-built body. I hated the kiss, I hated the man, and I hated everything that was happening to me. He was making it hard to breathe. I tapped his chest again, and finally, he let me go.

I took long, heavy breaths to steady myself, about to speak when he pulled me into another kiss. My eyes widened in shock. His dead, cold eyes bore into mine, dominating me with his gaze. His tongue invaded my mouth over and over, tasting of bitter black coffee. I wanted to forget this kiss, so I let my eyes wander to the glass wall, where I could see people passing by, though they couldn't see me. He watched my every movement during the kiss, and with a final, harsh suck of my lower lip, he released me.

Without a word, he walked out the door, and I stared blankly at his retreating back.

"I want this place empty in five minutes!" he shouted loudly, his voice booming through the café and making me shiver.

I stared at the door as, one by one, everyone left the café, the silence growing as even the employees hurried out.

And why wouldn't they? The man before them was none other than Azar Baldwin, the youngest heir of the most powerful family—The Baldwins. They weren't just wealthy; they commanded empires of business, politics, and mafia operations, living with a royal grandeur.

Azar Baldwin—the youngest, most successful businessman. Everything about him screamed power. He was the man every girl dreamed of.

He stood in front of me now, his dark eyes meeting my tear-filled doe ones. I spoke softly, my voice trembling. "Why?"
