Chapter XV

The entrance gate opened indicating that they had cleared the game. As the pair exit the prison, the giant blimp that was in the sky suddenly exploded.

The two ignore it and continued walking,  now they are outside once again they needed to be careful because of the King of spades.

Finding somewhere safe wasn't easy especially when the blimp of the King of spade was moving fast. The pair decided to take shelter in an abandoned house, Y/n took a seat on the sofa as she huffed in exhaustion.

"So? What's your plan?" Y/n broke the silence, the male averted his eyes at her before answering. "We'll go to the King of Diamonds next to avoid the King of Spade."

Y/n stood from her seat, "We? No way I'm playing a diamond game, did you remember what happened last time I play diamond with you?" She squint her eyes, the male only gave her a smirk.

"I'm going to look for Kuina." She firmly told him before rummaging through the cabinet to find decent clothes. Traveling with just a bikini and sweatpants was going to be hard and she's basically freezing.

Her eyebrows furrowed when she can't find any clothes that may warm her. Still digging through furniture she stopped her something soft hit the back of her head.

She turned to the male with the annoyance before seeing that he had just given her his white jacket.

"Thanks." She muttered as she look away clearly flustered and embarrassed. Sure she was hurt from the male's past action but that doesn't mean she had already disposed of her feeling for the blonde.

"I'll see you soon." Chishiya waved his hand dismissing her, before Y/n heads out. She was now outside of the house but stopped mid way.

She was contemplating whether to continue her journey or head back inside and play the King of Diamond game.

Y/n took a deep breath before heading inside, the male whipped his head towards her direction a bit taken back of her sudden change of mind.

With a bit of courage Y/n ran towards the male engulfing him with a hug, "I now you can't fucking return the feelings, I know you don't care but I do. I–" She stop for a few seconds. "Don't you dare die while I'm away. Promise we'll meet again." Tears were now threatening to spill on her eyes.

"Sure." The male replied patting her head, he had a smirk on his face amused by the female's action.

She quickly push the male back before running outside not ever looking back. Y/n bit her inner cheek as her face was red from being flustered and embarrassed but she did it. Pushing her pride aside she finally let go of her feeling she had bottling up.

Y/n didn't care anymore if the male did not return the feelings she was now satisfied with they had.

Shaking her thoughts off her mind she decided to focus more on finding her friend.

Every building Y/n had passed through had now overgrown by plants, she had now began thinking how long they have been in the other world.

It was too quiet and Y/n wasn't fond of the uncomfortable silence that's when she heard screaming followed by gunshots. "Shit!" She ran and saw a bunch of players being killed by the King of Spades.

She saw two blimps on the sky, Queen of Clubs and King of Spades too close to each other. She gritted her teeth before entering the Queen of Club's arena.

Difficulty, Queen of Clubs.

Game, Target.
Please wait until the game commences.

Just as Y/n enter she felt as if someone was behind her, when she turn around she was met with a familiar face.

"Ann!" Y/n ran and hug the taller female. Her smile grew when the short haired female hugged her back. "I'm glad you're alive." Ann smiled breaking the hug.

The two continued to talk waiting for the game to start. Just then Ann's focus went behind Y/n, the h/c look over to see what she was staring at, it was Kuina.

Again Y/n ran towards the braided girl hugging her, Ann was following behind her. "Did you think we were dead?" Ann questioned cross armed.

"No." Kuina answered as she let go of the embrace of Y/n. "I knew I would see you again. You're both too strong to die." Because of her statement Ann smiled sarcastically. "Strong, huh? You know, Kuina, I started wondering if waiting for death might be easier."

Y/n look back and forth at the two tall females in front of her, "Yeah, I had similar thoughts. But at least the three of us are here now." Kuina spoke, which Ann nodded as a response.

"Clubs are team games." Ann concluded staring at the distance. "It should be much easier with the three of us playing." The braided female answer, Y/n nodded her head before agreeing with her friend.

"Just a few more games. We'll make it to the end." Ann reassured, "Huh. Mmm. I'm sure we will." Kuina raise her hand for Ann to grab. Y/n who didn't want to be left out she put her two hands at the two's hand.

With a smile Y/n cheered. "Let's go win this game."

Registration has closed.

It was chaos but the three were handling it well. Was for the most part,

Players who were falling was immediately being lasered. It went more for a few hours before they had cleared the game.

The three walk out as the blimp falls from the sky. "By the way why are not with Chishiya don't tell me–" Kuina look at Y/n with worried eyes. "Oh! No no he's not dead. I ditched him because he wanted to play the King of Diamond game. I'm too dumb to play a diamond game." Y/n pouted,

Kuina nodded relief washing over her face. "Then did you finally made up." She asked, Y/n stare at the hoodie she was wearing before smiling. "Sure." She replied.

The three spend the night at a van before traveling once more.

They were just walking when a group of people came running screaming, and this gave them an idea that they were being chased by the King of Spades.

"Fuck!" Y/n screamed in agony as a bullet graze her arm, "Y/n!" Kuina assisted her friend, her arm was now bleeding. They didn't waste anymore time and bagan running as fasy as they could.

Luckily for Y/n, Chishiya's jacket had help her so the would wasn't deep. She took the jacket off to stop it from staining red.

"I fucking hate this game." She muttered as they continue to ran for their lives.
