Weeks had passed, and Seokjin now found himself standing in front of a large mirror, adjusting the collar of his suit. His reflection stared back at him, looking every bit the polished man that was expected at such a high-profile event. But inside, he felt the familiar twinge of nervousness twisting in his stomach. Today was no ordinary event—it was Jungkook's brother Namjoon's wedding, and Seokjin knew the gravity of attending as Jungkook's partner, even if they hadn't made their relationship entirely public yet.

Jungkook, of course, seemed as relaxed as ever. Dressed in an immaculate black suit, he looked as effortlessly handsome as always, though his playful grin betrayed his usual carefree attitude. Sensing Seokjin's unease, Jungkook sidled up behind him, wrapping his arms around Seokjin's waist and resting his chin on Seokjin's shoulder.

"You're going to look like the most handsome man there," Jungkook said teasingly, his breath warm against Seokjin's ear. "Not that I'm biased or anything."

Seokjin smiled despite himself, shaking his head as he continued fussing with his tie. "Easy for you to say. You've known everyone here your entire life."

Jungkook chuckled, giving Seokjin a playful squeeze. "That's why you've got me. I'll make sure everything goes smoothly. Besides," he added with a smirk, "I'm here to distract you."

Seokjin raised an eyebrow, meeting Jungkook's eyes in the mirror. "Distract me, huh? Is that why you keep whispering sweet things in my ear?"

Jungkook laughed, planting a quick kiss on Seokjin's cheek. "If that's what it takes to make you less nervous, then yeah. I'll whisper all night if I have to."

Seokjin rolled his eyes but couldn't help the warmth that spread through his chest. Jungkook's presence had always been calming, even in the most stressful situations. He turned to face Jungkook, smiling at the boyish charm in his expression.

"You're too much sometimes," Seokjin said softly, feeling the tension in his shoulders start to ease.

Jungkook's grin widened as he leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a playful whisper. "Only for you."

Seokjin laughed, shaking his head. "You know you're ridiculous, right?"

Jungkook shrugged, feigning innocence. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

As Seokjin turned back to the mirror to make the final adjustments to his suit, Jungkook stayed close, his hands casually resting on Seokjin's hips. It was a simple gesture, but it grounded Seokjin, reminding him that he wasn't alone in this.

"You've got this," Jungkook said, his voice suddenly more serious, though still laced with affection. "No need to be nervous. Everyone's going to love you. Besides, you've already won over the most important person at the wedding—me."

Seokjin chuckled, the corners of his lips tugging upward as he gave Jungkook a sidelong glance. "That's the easy part. I just don't want to make things awkward with your family."

Jungkook waved off the concern with a flick of his hand. "They're going to be so wrapped up in Namjoon's wedding that no one's going to worry about anything else. And trust me, once they get to know you, they'll see what I see."

Seokjin bit his lip, feeling a little more at ease now that Jungkook had worked his usual magic. He knew that Jungkook's family, especially his father, had been skeptical of their relationship at first, but Jungkook had been so persistent and confident about them being together that Seokjin couldn't help but feel reassured.

Jungkook moved closer again, gently brushing Seokjin's hair out of his eyes. "Besides," he added, "I won't let you out of my sight all night. I've got your back."
