Seokjin stood in front of the mirror in his suite, adjusting his collar for what felt like the hundredth time. He was nervous, more nervous than he wanted to admit. His heart raced with a mix of excitement and uncertainty as he got ready for his dinner with Jungkook. There was something different about this evening, a subtle tension in the air that made him question everything.

Was this really okay?

He and Jungkook were still in that stage of getting to know each other, yet Seokjin couldn't shake the feeling that there could be something special between them. But as much as that possibility excited him, it also made him anxious. His mind drifted back to the first time he saw Jungkook—riding a motorbike, looking every bit the part of a reckless heartthrob. The leather jacket, the piercings, the devil-may-care attitude. Jungkook had all the markings of a player, a fuck boy, someone who could easily be in this for the thrill.

Seokjin frowned slightly, contemplating his own thoughts. Was Jungkook just trying to get into his pants? If he was, Seokjin couldn't entirely blame him. After all, Seokjin was single now, and maybe a part of him did want to let loose. Maybe, if Jungkook made a move, he would let it happen. It had been a long time since he felt this way—like someone was genuinely interested in him. Besides, a stress reliever sounded tempting, especially after everything he'd gone through with Taehyung.

But then Seokjin sighed, shaking his head. He wasn't that kind of person. He had standards, and he wasn't the type to just jump into bed with someone he barely knew. He was someone who valued real connections—he only ever slept with someone he was truly in love with. Was he just doing this to distract himself from the lingering pain of Taehyung? Was he fooling himself?

He glanced at his phone, his heart sinking as he scrolled through the endless missed calls and text messages from Taehyung. Hundreds of missed calls and dozens of texts, each one unanswered. Seokjin had read them all, every plea, every apology, every attempt from Taehyung to reach him. And yet, he hadn't responded to a single one. The pain was still too raw, too close to the surface.

A sudden knock on the door startled him out of his thoughts. The doorbell rang again, and Seokjin knew it was Jungkook. With one last glance at his reflection, he walked over to the door and opened it.

There stood Jungkook, looking impossibly handsome. He was dressed in a well-fitted suit, tailored to perfection, his hair styled just right. Seokjin felt his heart skip a beat. There was a quiet confidence in the way Jungkook stood, his smile both charming and easy.

"Hey, hyung," Jungkook greeted, his voice smooth as he looked Seokjin up and down, clearly impressed. "You look incredible."

Seokjin felt a faint blush creep up his neck, and he tried to play it off with a smile. "You don't look too bad yourself," he replied, his eyes briefly trailing over Jungkook's broad shoulders and down to the well-tailored suit that clung to him perfectly.

Jungkook chuckled, and Seokjin could sense that he knew exactly what effect he had on people. "Shall we go?"

They headed down to the basement garage, and when they reached the car, Seokjin's eyes widened slightly. Parked in front of them was a sleek, black Bugatti, its curves and shine making it look like something straight out of a high-end car magazine.

"You drive a Bugatti?" Seokjin asked, clearly impressed despite himself. He hadn't expected Jungkook to have something this flashy.

Jungkook smirked, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yeah. Thought it would be fun to take it out tonight. I remember you drove a Lamborghini when we first met, so I figured I'd bring something equally impressive."

Seokjin couldn't help but chuckle at that, a sense of amusement breaking through his nerves. "Well, you've definitely succeeded in impressing me."

As they got into the car, Seokjin found himself feeling lighter. The tension from earlier was still there, but it had shifted, now tinged with anticipation rather than doubt. As Jungkook smoothly pulled out of the garage, Seokjin glanced at him from the passenger seat, his mind racing with thoughts he wasn't ready to admit.
