"Why did you take them in the first place?" Snowsoar growled. Echostorm looked over worriedly. Blazeecho flicked his ear and listened quietly.

"Because they truly belong here!" Falconfeather hissed.

"You don't take my kits again!" Snowsoar hissed loudly through Winterkit's fur.

     "Alright, alright," Sagefoot mewed.

"What about Bluekit?" Blueclaw spoke up. Echostorm glanced at her father. He never was really there but he did search when she and Hollowthorn ran away.

"No... Not my kit," Echostorm whispered, shivering. Blazeecho licked her ear comfortingly as he stood beside her.

"Echostorm, you and your brother ran away. Why don't you let Bluekit stay. You took my chance of being a father away," Blueclaw sighed. Echostorm glanced at Bramblefur nervously.

"I think we have to," he murmured.

Echostorm yowled loudly, "Just have Rainwing make you more kits! Problem solved!" Echostorm hissed, then dashed off.

"Or another cat," Bramblefur suggested before darting off after her and the rest of the cats.

"Echostorm, please!" Blueclaw yowled racing after her.

"What do you want?!" She snapped.

"I cared for you. Rainwing hated me..." he sighed. Echostorm's eyes softened as she looked into the old toms greif stricken ones.

"I don't know what to do," she murmured. "It's just that... I don't want to give my kit away..." Echostorm sighed.

Snowsoar dropped Winterkit and looked at Blueclaw.

"I think I have an idea... It's stupid, but it might work." Snowsoar told the tom. "Just give us time,"

Blueclaw sighed and nodded, then the five cats carried the kits to the Shadowclan nursery.

Snowsoar sighed before padding out alone.

"Bone...?" Snowsoar asked the tom, who was struggling to groom his four kits.

Bone looked up from his kits and looked at the shecat, "Yes?" he asked.

"Have a kit to spare? We need one... Badly..." Snowsoar sighed. Robin and Bone looked her dead in the eyes.

Robin sighed and shook her head.

"These are my first and probably my only kits," she sighed.

"No mother would ever give up a kit, and your clan is big," Bone said giving Snowsoar a slight glare.

"Yes, but we have the risk of losing one of our kits! We don't have much kits!" Snowsoar said.

"I have an idea," Maze said. Snowsoar faced the shecat.

"Ask a queen to have to kits with her mate, then give them away." Maze suggested.

"Maybe..." Goldbird flashed through her mind. Goldbird had wanted more kits just to feel like a mother again, but she didn't want to keep more kits, as she didn't know what to do with them.

"Thanks, guys," Snowsoar said, padding away.
