"Dem gone a work, massah." Mommy answers my question. I asked her where's Kimali and Kam.

"Oh." I say sitting beside her.

I'm a month and 2 weeks pregnant, however, I don't have a bump as yet.

Maybe it's because I'm slim. My belly doesn't look like a little human is growing in there at all.

"I think it's the twentieth of August." I tell her, opening TikTok on my phone.

"Lemme tell yuh sumn. When those results come out, no matter how you do, I'll always be proud of you, okay?" Awww.

"Yes mommy." I smile at her. She pecks my cheek.

As soon as the words leave my mouth my phone pings, signaling a notification from iMessage.

"Alright." Mommy says then walk towards the kitchen area.

Looking at the message, I realize that it's from Shane.

He's a friend of Kimali. How he got my number? Only God he knows.

But I'm kinda glad he does. I've been talking to him since last week. He's a very jovial and sweet person. He keeps my company everyday since we started talking. I think I might like him.
