S.2 EP. 75

I sat on the bed with bandages around my torso, shoulder and thigh as I wore my black sports bra and shorts.

"Guys seriously- Let me up!" Ashlyn yelled while Taylor and Aiden sandwiched her in between them, Aiden wrapped his hands around her waist from behind and Taylor leaching on from the front.

"So this Maverick man wants to help us?" Tyler asked and I nodded. Despite how bad we were injured the blood had slowed down but hadn't stopped yet, and I doubt our bodies will grow back like an axolotls.

"Don't ignore me!" Ashlyn yelled again and i chuckled
"And I doubt it, by the way Amber and Ben described his appearance he was standing by the woman who put us in this mess when they made me 'interact' with the infected"

I see they still made her go through with it.. Was she calmer about it..?

"He was. I'm guessing he's her boss or something, and I bet he doesn't want to help us he's just trying to use us." I commented

"It dosent matter. If we join him and destroy this place we'll have our freedom. Then we can just deal with them later" Ben typed from the phone Maverick had gave him.

"Did he mention giving us freedom though?" Tyler asked and I shook my head

"No. All he wants is for us to help him destroy this place." I added and Ben looked a bit mad.

"Ben were just as upset about this as you are, but we can't just rush to join some group just because they mention to destroy this place" Taylor explained and I nodded in agreement

"We can't rush to join them, I agree but do we have much of a choice?" Logan asked "Alex said he wanted to help as much as possible to help us escape. But escaping and taking this place down is two different things."

"This is the government were talking about. And even if we escape and take this place down we would have to leave the country and even then we could be tracked. We possibly won't be able to escape and free our parents" Logan explained

The thought alone of leaving Lily and Harper here makes me want to scream.

"I agree with Ben and Logan. We take this facility down and if Maverick tries to backstab us we take care of him. We have Logan's gun, Ashlyns killies, Taylors Axe, and Amber's brass knuckles. I would rather kill some vigilante group then go against the government." He pointed out

"So what exactly is he wanting us to join him for" ashlyn asked

"He thinks if we can open rifts and learn to control the phantom dimension then we could mess with their system like what happened with Amber"

Ben's phone spoke

but it wasn't just Amber, all of the cameras blacked out except hers sense she was in the other room and the only reason our lights didn't stay off is because we have a backup generator but it takes time for the cameras to reboot. At least that's how he explained it.

"So long story short if we all hold hands and believe in the power of friendship and sing Koombiya then we'll make enough power to open a rift large enough to mess with their stystem!? This is giving me a headache." Tyler pointed out and I agreed

"I need the aspirin more then you two" Aiden snarked and I rolled my eyes.

"I just want to go home." Taylor said as we heard the pain in her voice.

It was silent and I stood from the bed and walked over and hugged her.

"Let's take a break for tonight" Ashlyn orders and we all nodded

"Aiden- I saw you that time stop taking from the bank!" Tyler yelled and I laughed

"I'm not! I'm only taking what I landed on!" Aiden defended and he rolled, landing on Ashlyns property.

"You landed on my property that's 1200" she pointed out

"Why is everyone attacking me!?" Aiden said dramatically

"It's karma for cheating!" I laughed and Logan offerd to be the banker which I made Aiden agree.

"SBG?" I asked looking to Taylor who was making bracelets

"School bus graveyard. It's where we hungout the most so it felt right adding it, like a group name or something it became all of our safe place. I miss it." She mumbled at the end and I smiled softly and hugged her.

"I do to. We have so many memories there, like that movie night we had and Aiden almost choked on popcorn" I laughed and Taylor smiled

"Taylor. i promise to get us back. No matter what happens." I promised and I saw Ben smile

"Things have been hard for all of us. Before and after Savannah, we've all had our ups and downs, the graveyard became our safe spot. And I guess what made all of this bearable was the company we had. I also miss it." Logan said and I nodded keeping the soft smile

"Basically we've just got to make this place entertaining until we can get back" Aiden said keeping his normal smile and I chuckled

"And how do we do that?" Tyler asked sarcastically

"I dunno yet" Aiden laughed

"How about we all add a color to the bracelets, then we can remake it when we wake up?" Ashlyn asked and Taylor nodded

"But there is an uneven amount of us" Logan pointed out

"Ashlyn is the leader, and she protects us and her dad owns the graveyard so I think there should be two of whatever color Ashlyn chooses on each side of SBG" I asked and the others agreed and Ashlyn smiled.

We'll get out of here. All of us. But until then. We'll make the best with what we got.
