Tanjirou's POV:The adults were downstairs in the living room, probably talking about things way too serious for us to handle, so we headed upstairs to Tsuki’s room. As we walked up, I glanced into Luna’s room because the door was wide open. Now, I don’t know what I expected, but it sure wasn’t that. It looked like a horror movie set—dimly lit, walls scratched like a bear had a tantrum, and there were some questionable stains I wasn’t willing to ask about. Tools and wood were scattered everywhere like she was either a mechanic or a carpenter—maybe both.
Upstairs, it was quieter and felt almost too normal after everything that happened. Beige walls again, same as downstairs, and a bunch of photos. Some of them had Giyuu with an older girl who looked like him but, y’know, less moody. Other pictures were of Giyuu with Tsuki and Luna, smiling like a normal family, which, after seeing Luna’s room, felt mildly alarming. Like, were they hiding some kind of demon child in there?
Tsuki’s room was at the end of the hall, and when she gripped the door handle, I half-expected it to fall off with how tense she looked. She pushed the door open and stepped aside for the rest of us to go in first, like she was bracing herself for a disaster.
I mean, her room wasn’t what I expected at all. The walls were baby blue, soft and calming. There were framed drawings and pictures everywhere, some even had sparkles on them. And the bed? It was a princess bed with curtains, for crying out loud. Pastel blue sheets, white pillows, and—get this—a rainbow heart above the bed. String lights hung from the curtains, giving the room this cozy vibe. There was even a moon lamp on her dresser, right next to a photo of her and Yuzu, smiling like nothing bad had ever happened in their lives.
“If I found out my giry had a room like this, I’d dump them" Kori snickered, clearly trying to make us all laugh. It didn’t exactly work, though, because Tsuki didn’t even blink. She just walked over to her closet, muttering something under her breath as she started rummaging around.
Tsuki pulled out some clothes and tossed them at Muichiro. “Here. These should fit you. They don’t fit me, and you’re like… three inches shorter than me, so.”
Muichiro caught the clothes and just stood there, staring at them for a second before silently heading out the door. Probably to find a bathroom, but honestly, with Muichiro, who knows where he’s going half the time?
Then Tsuki turned on us, hands on her hips. “What are you guys still doing here? Out!”
We all scrambled out of there like we’d been hit by lightning. I don’t think I’ve ever moved that fast in my life, and that’s saying something.
Outside, I tried calling Genya again, but—surprise, surprise—no answer. At this point, I was convinced his phone had fallen into a black hole or something. I sent him yet another text, probably my hundredth one today: Where are you? Are you okay?
No response.

Tsuki’s POV (briefly):
I hopped on my motorcycle and revved the engine, the low growl cutting through the rainy night air. Tanjirou had asked me to pick up Nezuko since it was starting to rain, and let’s be real, a 20-minute walk in the rain wasn’t exactly fun. Besides, it’d only take me a few minutes to get there on my bike, and Nezuko knew me well enough not to think I was some random kidnapper.
Still, as I sped through the wet streets, something gnawed at me. Something about Muichiro’s story was off. If the other kids were pushing him, wouldn’t they have had bloody handprints on them too? But from what I saw, Muichiro was the only one covered in blood—besides me, of course. I got drenched head to toe, but everyone else? They barely got splattered. His story didn’t add up, and the more I thought about it, the more suspicious it seemed.
