Muichiro’s POV

Tanjirou slumped onto the bed, his eyelids fluttering as he desperately tried to stay awake. I couldn’t help but chuckle at how cute he looked, struggling against the inevitable. "Sorry, Tanjirou," Aki said casually, her voice filled with a hollow, almost emotionless tone, "I made a deal."

As he finally passed out, I leaned in closer, my lips mere inches from his. His scent was intoxicating, and my heart raced with twisted excitement. "Well, that was easier than I thought," I said, planting a soft kiss on his forehead. My sweet Tanjirou-kun was finally mine, in every sense of the word.

Before I could lose myself in the moment, Aki cleared her throat, giving me an impatient look. "How about we not make out with the unconscious boy right now and figure out how we’re going to get him out of my bedroom without my brother seeing?" she said dryly, her eyes narrowing.

I sighed dramatically, standing up. "Fine, I’ll call Yuichiro." I pulled out my phone, ignoring the mocking glare Aki gave me as she flicked me on the forehead, her irritation clear.

"I’m going to grab my snake," she said with a dismissive wave, walking out of the room. The door clicked shut behind her, and I sighed, looking down at the unconscious Tanjirou again. He’ll wake up soon.

As I dialed Yuichiro’s number, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at Aki’s obsession with that ridiculous snake of hers. Emotional support, my ass. More like emotional blackmail, I thought, remembering how that snake always seemed to know when someone was uncomfortable, almost as if it thrived on their anxiety. It was black with yellow eyes and always wore that silly purple bow—like a cute little harbinger of death.

The phone rang twice before Yuichiro answered with his usual irritated tone. "Already?"

"Yeah, it’s done. I need you to come pick me up. And bring the car around the back this time," I said, hanging up before he could protest.

Yuichiro’s POV

I stared at my phone as the call abruptly ended, my brother’s habit of hanging up on me without a proper goodbye gnawing at my last nerve. "Why does he always do that?" I muttered, shaking my head.

But Muichiro wasn’t the only thing on my mind. No, I had something far more twisted to deal with tonight. I’d spent the previous night scrolling through his contacts, scribbling down the names and numbers of his so-called "friends." What a joke. They don’t even know what’s coming.

I picked a random number from the list and dialed it, waiting as the line buzzed. After a few moments, a soft, shaky voice answered. "Hello?"

"Yeah, hi. I’m Muichiro’s brother. I don’t have much time to explain, but I need you and your friends to meet me somewhere. We need to talk," I said, trying to keep my voice calm, almost sweet. People trust sweet.

The voice hesitated, but then said, "Uh... okay. Where?"

"How about the hospital tonight? 11 o’clock," I said smoothly, smiling to myself. The nervous voice on the other end stammered an agreement before hanging up.

Perfect. Everything was falling into place.

I started the car and headed off to pick up Muichiro. This would all be over soon, one way or another.

Tsuki’s POV

I shot up in the hospital bed, a jolt of pain coursing through my body as I instinctively reached for my face. Half of it was tightly wrapped in bandages, and the room around me was blurry. I blinked rapidly, trying to focus, when I felt a warm touch on my hand.

"Tsuki?" Yuzu’s voice sounded distant, but she was right next to me, her eyes wide with worry. I weakly tapped her hand, letting her know I was awake.

The realization must have hit her hard because, in a panic, she screamed for the doctors. In moments, the room flooded with people, all bustling around me, checking my vitals, asking a million questions that I couldn’t answer.

(Time Skip – Because Hospital Drama is Boring)

The doctors finally discharged me about an hour after I woke up. Yuzu and I left the hospital, walking side by side in silence. My head was pounding, but I couldn’t shake the memory of that day.

"It was Muichiro," I muttered, my voice cracking as the words left my mouth.

Yuzu looked at me, confused. "What?"

"It was Muichiro. He did this. He’s the one who—" Before I could finish, Yuzu’s phone rang, breaking the tension. The contact name flashed on the screen: Zenitsu.

Muichiro’s POV (Again)

Back at Aki’s place, I was pacing in her room, glancing at the unconscious Tanjirou every few seconds. My phone buzzed in my pocket, but I ignored it. No distractions now.

Aki returned, her snake draped over her shoulders, hissing softly in her ear. "So, what’s the plan?" she asked, her voice calm but her eyes betraying a certain coldness.

I glanced at the open window and then at Tanjirou. "Simple. We sneak him out before Obanai-sensei gets suspicious, and then..."
