Before a fight can be broken out, Briar says, "Now hold on, there's no need to be picking a fight. It's clear that the ghosts want us to leave. And I know we don't want to leave, but they seem to have a reason."

Then turns to the ghosts, "Do you think you can explain to us what's going on?"

"No time to explain," The ghost says, and he and all his pals begin pushing everyone out, "We need to get everything ready for the wedding."

"Wedding?" Briar questions.

The ghost says, "Now I suggest you leave peaceably, lest I box your ears again!"

Soon, everyone ends up getting pushed out of the dorm by the ghosts and are soon outside.

Grim yelps, "MROOOW!"

Once Briar and the others are pushed out of the dorm, the ghost slams the door shut.

"We just got ousted from our own dorm... What in the name of tuna is goin' on?!" Grim shouts and complains.

"I wonder about that myself," Jasper says, annoyed.

"I wonder who this princess they've mentioned," Sereia says, a little confused.

"Or the wedding they mentioned," Briar says.

"It certainly is weird," Tanzanite says.

Trinket nods her head.

But Grim angrily says, "Who cares! We gotta find the headmage and get him to evict those ghosts!"

"Good idea, Grim. Maybe the Headmage might know about these ghosts and what's going on," Briar says.

Sometime later...

Briar and the others arrive at Headmage Crowley's office and explain to him the events of earlier events.

"A gaggle of ghosts in white hats took over your dorm and kicked you out?" Growley asks.

"That's right!" Grim says, "They just showed up and started actin' like they owned the place! Spoutin' off some hoity-toity gobbledygook about a princess too."

"A princess?" Crowley replies, and soon says, "Ah, now I see! Your dorm was unoccupied before this year so I didn't address the matter, but... I suppose it's that time of year again."

"What do you mean, 'again'?" Jasper questions.

"You mean this happened before?" Tanzanite asks.

"Do you know something about this?" Briar asks.

"Yes. The ghosts who so unceremoniously ejected you from your dorm are the Ghost Bride's retainers," Crowley answers.

"Ghost Bride?!" The group asks, shocked.

"What kinda title is that?" Grim asks, "I can't tell if it's supposed to be swanky or spooky."

Crowley then explains, "The story is that she's a princess of a kingdom that fell long ago, or some such. She dreamt of marrying a handsome prince. But she tragically perished before that dream could be realized. To this day, her ghost clings to the idea of marrying the perfect prince."

"That sounds very sad," Sereia says.

Trinket nods.

Crowley continues, "She always comes to Twisted Wonderland around this time of year, searching for a groom. And when she does, she and her retainers use Ramshackle Dorm as their base of operations. Out of all the decrepit, abandoned dwellings in this world, her royal highness picked ours. It's really quite the honor. Heh."

"We got kicked outta our own home and you're BRAGGIN' about it? That ain't right! You gotta show those pompous spooks the door!" Grim angrily says.

"I'm afraid I can't be bothered—ahem!—I mean, though I sympathize with your plight, we shouldn't bother them. After all, she is searching for a groom she'll never find," Crowley says.

"Why not?" Grim asks.

"Her qualifications for a perfect prince are, and I quote:" Crowley says. Then says in quote, "'At least 180 centimeters tall, with an air of nonchalance! Healthy, lustrous skin! Lidded eyes! A charming smile! Bright, shimmering hair! Lips so arresting that you just have to kiss them!'"

Briar sheepishly smiles, "Quite the ideal prince huh."

"There's more, but you get the gist," Crowley says, "In summary: A preposterously prepossessing gentleman. Her standards are pure fantasy. She'll never find a man in Twisted Wonderland who comes close," And laughs, "Ha ha ha! Ramshackle Dorm is the only thing that suffers from her annual flight of fancy. Give her a few days, and she'll give up and leave. It's hardly worth all this brouhaha. I advise you to let it go and find a friend to stay with in the interim."

Grim mutters in anger, "Mrrrgh... You're makin' US find a place to stay? Some headmage you are!"

"Calm down, Grim. I'm sure the ghost bride and her subordinates will be gone before you know it," Briar says.

"Maybe, but no way I'm staying at Savanaclaw again after what happened last time," Grim says.

Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice, "HEADMAAAGE!" and Ortho Shroud bursts into the room.

"Why if it isn't Ortho Shroud of Ignihyde. What could've gotten you in such a tizzy?" Crowley asks.

In a panic, Ortho says, "It's an emergency, sir! About Idia!"

"Yes, yes, what about your brother?" Crowley asks.

"The thing is..." Ortho begins to say, and shouts, "IDIA'S BEEN KIDNAPPED BY GHOSTS!"

Crowley and Grim react in shock, "WHAAAT?!"
