Green To Yellow: Beware My Power

     "Hal.. I don't.. I don't feel so good.." John expressed lightly crumbling to his feet as Sinestro's laughter grew louder.

     "John! Stay with me!" Hal exclaimed attempting to help his friend up, however, he had no energy to fight for his strength.

     "You've lost Jordan! This is the end of ALL GREEN LANTERNS!" Sinestro exclaimed as Hal's lantern ring then slowly began to fade away leaving him powerless in the moment.

     "What have you done?.." Hal muttered lightly as he overlooked all of his fallen friends, kneeling on the floor in their weakened states.

     "I've drained the willpower from the central power battery along with all of the willpower held in every Green Lantern's rings! Don't fret, Jordan. You'll be wearing a new color of your own very soon." He expressed grinning deviously as Paralax rose above the power battery godlike. Suddenly a large explosion of yellow light emerged from the now yellow power battery while a swarm of Sinestro corps lantern rings flew across the planet.

     "John! John I need you to stay with me!" Hal ushered as the rings continued flying and placing themselves on previous Green Lantern's ring fingers, replacing their old one.

In Blackest Day, in brightest night.

     "No!" Hal exclaimed worriedly watched the sudden small amounts of yellow filling the planet from the powered rings.

Beware your fears made into light.

     "JOHN! DAMNIT YOU NEED TO GET UP NOW!" Hal encouraged while a yellow lantern ring rushed over towards John in that moment.

Let those who try to stop what's right..

     "Burn like his power.. SINESTRO'S MIGHT!" John exclaimed along with the other lanterns as they rose up from their knees, his eyes glowing a bright yellow color. That's when their suits began forming around them, wrapping the lanterns in yellow and black clothing as well as the signature Sinestro corps logo in the center of their suits.

     "No.." The remaining guarding spoke softly, weakened by his fight as he then gripped ahold of a nearby drained power ring. "This can't be it.. There has to be a way.." He muttered lightly as he shut his eyes tightly, holding the ring close to him as his chest began to glow a bright green color.

     "You won't be able to defeat me, Jordan. It's over!" He exclaimed slowly approaching the defeated lantern as he placed his hand on his shoulder lightly chuckling softly. "Oh my god there it is! THAT FEAR!" He exclaimed as he began to grin widely. "It's time.. Time for you to join my rankings!" He expressed as he revealed a yellow ring which then began to float out of his palm and slowly place itself around Hal's ring finger as he shook his head slowly before a flash of white light washed over him.

Hal Jordan of Earth! I am Paralax, the embodiment of fear! You have been chosen to hold great fear by me, and me alone. Sinestro believes he is the chosen, but really my sights were always on you Hal. I want you to join me. I want you to be the leader of the yellow lantern corps.
