2 Weeks Later

"Hey, this is Carol. Leave a message and I'll get back to ya." Carol's voicemail rung as Hal sighed softly listening for the beep.

"Hey, Carol, it's me. I know you're probably mad at me and you have every right to be.. I'm sorry, Carol. I just want to know you're ok. Call me back." He spoke as he then hung up the phone sighing lightly as he tossed it on the bed softly rubbing at his face tiredly. Suddenly his phone began running as Hal quickly raced to pick it up, answering it enthusiastically. "CAROL?" Hal exclaimed with a big smile crossing his face.

"It's her father. Hal, have you heard from Carol at all? Seen her? She's been missing for months now." He expressed over the phone as Hal grew more worried for Carol's safety.

"What? Have you been to her apartment?" Hal questioned curiously.

"That's why I decided to call you too. I thought it'd be better and less destructive calling you who i'm sure has a key to a place rather than kicking the door down. I've been there, yes. But no one's answered and her landlord refuses to give me a key for the sake of her privacy. Just.. Please check on my baby girl." Carol's father pleaded as Hal rushed out of his apartment door, slamming it shut behind him.

"I'm on my way there now. I'll find her. I promise you." Hal expressed as his eyes began glowing a bright green color.

"Earth. Such a puny and miserable planet. Makes me sick only looking at it." Sinestro spoke with the sound of disgust in his tone.

"Remember the plan, Sinestro. Get into Hal Jordan's head enough for him to take you to Oa for the next phase of our plan." Paralax spoke as Sinestro lowered himself down to the nearby rooftop of the building below him, overlooking Coast City with a grin spread across his face.

"I remember, Paralax. Don't you worry. The only thing I'm having trouble with is finding out the perfect way to lure him out of his hole." He spoke with a grin looking at the various possibilities for him to strike.

"Maybe strike him somewhere hard and personal to him." Paralax suggested as Sinestro's grin grew.

"I know just where." He spoke flying off into the city knowing just where to go to lure Hal to him.

"Carol? It's Hal. Look, I'm worried about you. Your father's worried. If you're mad at me i'm sorry but i'm coming in to check on you, ok?" He called out unlocking Carol's front door and pushing into her room, looking around the destroyed room causing his face to become full or panic. "Carol?!" He called out as he rushed through the house looking everywhere for her but only finding more and more messes."CAROL?!" He exclaimed loudly before stepping on something hard that made a soft cracking noise. He then knelt down finding her phone which was full of messages and missed calls. "Damnit Carol where are you?" Hal spoke full of worry. That's when he then stood up and began rushing towards Carol's open window, jumping outside of it and transforming into his Green Lantern attire before flying off to go looking for her.

"Any update on the pink lantern?" Waller questioned as she approached the control center slowly, overlooking the monitor which revealed a woman in pink attire strapped down.

"She's still choosing to fight us, ma'am. I understand our goal was to weaponize the alien artifact but she has no recollection of her actual life. No humanity no.. emotions or anything. It's as if she only wants to hurt anyone that appears as a threat." Waller's agent spoke as she studied the footage carefully thinking to herself.
