'Now that my tryouts are over, what should we do?', Shrishti asked the four people who stood with her in a circle.

Daljeet and Arpit shared a glance before giving her an apologetic look.

'Sorry Pari.', Arpit said, 'Daljeet and I cannot go anywhere. We are supposed to attend each and every try out.'

'Because you are from the sports committee?', Divya piped up.

'Yes. Exactly.' Daljeet replied.

Shrishti pouted. 'And here I hoped, we would all go somewhere and have some fun.'

Her two friends shook their heads as they apologised. She waved them off. 'Don't say sorry. It is ok. I don't mind. Go and work.'

Both said their goodbyes to other two and vanished.

'....Well.... I am hungry. Want to come and eat with me?', Shrishti asked Divya.

Divya opened her mouth to reply but then her eyes went sideways for a second in the direction of Raghav and she shook her head.

Shrishti frowned as Divya replied, 'No... thanks. I want to do some studies.'

'Studies? Why?' Shrishti asked, confused. In response, Divya glared at her before glancing at Raghav deliberately and winking at her. Shrishti's jaw dropped open. Her best friend was giving her some alone time with her crush! She gaped as her best friend winked at her again and left. That left Shrishti with just Raghav. She turned towards him and smiled uneasily. Now what?

'You said you were hungry?', Raghav spoke up just then.

Shrishti nodded. 'Errr.... Yes. The stress and then the actual performance, everything kind of made me hungry.'

'Shall we go and eat then?'

Shrishti who was avoiding Raghav's eyes till then looked up at him with surprise. The man was looking at her keenly but there was a slight curl on his lips that told her that he was smiling. He was happy! She smiled shyly in response. 'Sure. Why not!'

Shrishti and Raghav walked away.

'Your cycle?', Shrishti pointed to it which she had parked nearby.

Raghav pulled out his phone and messaged someone. Once the reply came, he looked up and smiled at her. I asked Arpit to keep an eye on both our cycles. He said he will do it. Lets go.'

She nodded and they headed to the college building. Going through the college building and then walking towards the main gate, both remained silent. But Shrishti realised that she had something to say.

'Thank you.', she blurted out, 'For bringing the cycle.' She gave him a glance before staring straight ahead as she continued, 'You did not have to. But you did. I am grateful for that.'

'You don't need to thank me. I did it for myself.'

'Huh?' She glanced at him to see him staring at her.

'Coming here meant getting a glance of you. I could not miss that, could I?'

She gaped at him. 'Are you flirting with me?'

'Is telling the truth flirting?'

She huffed at his response. 'You are turning into a shameless person.'

'What is wrong with telling the truth?', he sounded sincere but when she glanced at him, his smile was clear for anyone to see.

She huffed again but could not help her smile.

'You would have seen me later on during the lunch too!'

'But I would not have seen you at your happiest!'
