As I arrived back at my kingdom, I could see kids running in the distance. Probably playing tag with their friends while their parents yelled at them for playing too far from home. My kingdom wasn't that big but it had everything a king could need. Food, supplies, fresh air, a forest to hunt, and most of all... people! For some kings... they call their people servants but for me... everyone in my kingdom is family to me. They help with almost everything in my kingdom and of course, I help them as well. It is quite boring to just stay in my castle all day so I wondered... why not help them with their work. Unlike most of the kingdoms I've seen... they have a problem with their food supplies but lucky enough my kingdom gained a blessing from the gods. They ensure that we have enough food to have for ourselves and they told us to share most of it. Like the king I was, of course, I shared most of our food stocks with the other kingdoms or universes. That my friends... is how a king creates bonds. As I walked towards my kingdom, everyone greeted me with their love and smiles. I waved at them while maintaining my iconic smile. Out of nowhere, a cloaked man appeared in front of me. He kept on looking down while getting closer to me. "May I help you, my mysterious fellow?" I said with a smile... but the man didn't answer. I tilted my head in confusion. Was he deaf? I reached my hand out to take the cloak off of the man but he took my arm and threw me to the ground. Woah. What was that for? I tried to stand up but the cloaked man held a sword on my neck. I smirked when I saw the sword. So it's him... the heir to the throne when I'm gone for adventures with the knights... The man who can rival me... My beloved son... The cloaked man took his cloak off and revealed himself. He smiled and looked down at me. His hair was as brown as oak. His attire was elegant and fancy. He wore a white suit and grey jeans. His name made the magister tremble... The Prince of Acanarnia... Quest Kuro. He put his sword back onto its sheath and pulled me up from the ground. "Raise your guard Dad... Like always you always lower your guard" My son laughed loudly. I joined with his laughter, and then we stood there laughing together. "Looks like my son knows how to hide his aura from me. I couldn't even sense you." I continued talking while breaking into laughter. Another man appeared to join in on our conversation. His arms were crossed on his chest and his face was sullen. He wore a black T-shirt and black pants. His black hair was combed and it looked like it took a thousand hours to get that perfection. He glared at us and rolled his eyes. "Wow... so happy being reunited with your father... I never understood you Kuro's." The man said with an unsatisfied tone. You might be wondering who this is... This is Shadow's son... or rather my son's right-hand man... Ion Willows. Unlike his father... this boy is a bit... disrespectful to say the least. Instead of gaining his father's shadow powers, he gained the power to manipulate and control time from the god of time Chronos himself. "We're late for the reunion... You know that I hate waiting for you to prepare..." As he said this, he pulled my son's shirt and dragged him far away from me. "Well someone's in a hurry to meet his father." I said with a raised brow and a smirk. Ion looked back towards me and gave me a death glare. "I have you know that I did not attend this reunion just so I could see my father." Ion said in an angered tone. "Ion... keep it chill will you... Your father will probably be happy to see you at the reunion party tonight." Quest said in a teasing voice. "Yeah... He will be so happy to see me... I can't wait to make him proud..." Ion replied with a sarcastic voice... I mean... Shadow and Ion does have a bonding problem so I guess it is natural for them to dislike each other... I remember the days when Shadow would always compare his son to mine... These two really need to have some father-and-son bonding time. "I guess we'll meet tonight Dad! Make sure you don't sleep" Those words from Quest made me smile and giggle as he was dragged toward the castle. My castle. The castle that would reach the heavens if it wanted to. The castle was made from the crystal gifted by the heavens. The furniture? Well, the demons gave us the pieces of furniture. And the castles were made by my bare hands. Do I sound prideful? Of course, I am. What kind of lunatic would make a castle this big by himself? Just look at it... so tall and stable. I entered the castle and went to the second floor to go to my room. The stairs were made out of clear diamonds that were gifted by the great goddess Theia. Every step felt like heaven or rather Olympus. The light shined through the stairs and made a beautiful logo that was the main logo for our kingdom Acanarnia. Every step I took felt weirder than usual... as if something heavy... no... a burden was set on to me... A feeling of discomfort. What is happening in the other universe... Upon reaching the second floor, my eyes were fixated on the clock on the wall... I saw the hour hand moving rapidly as if it were the second hand. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't hallucinating and when I opened my eyes. The clock moved normally. I feel unwell... I can't just be seeing this stuff... I arrived at my room and opened the door. Inside there was a royal king-size bed with some purple furniture everywhere. I sat on the bed and put my hand against my head. What is this feeling... This gut-wrenching feeling. After a while, I started to feel the pressure of my hand on my head disappear. I sat there feeling confused. I took my hand off of my head and decided to look at what was happening to it. My hand disappeared. I jumped back from surprise and fell off of the bed. But my hand stuck the fall. What? I swear they weren't there a few seconds ago... I shook my head and got up to get ready for tonight. Maybe this reunion party will get my head out of this... Maybe.
