A recently turned adult under the name Tyler Jackson dies painfully at his job before being reincarnated into the world of Demon Slayer. Now being suddenly thrusted into a world where mankind is prey to demons and knowing of the many deaths to come...
The forest was littered with blood as multiple bodies of Demon Slayers were standing in strange positions with pained expressions on their faces as their limbs contorted into unnatural angles and released loud cracks.
From multiple points of their bodies, a glistening string could be seen as they sprawled throughout the trees and connected to one point as a pale demon in the trees oversaw all this as he nodded in approval before looking down at the base of the mountain.
"The one who reeks of death is approaching..." Rui spoke emotionlessly.

Standing between two trees on a spider web, Rui was Lower Moon Rank Five as he prepared the entire mountain for the arrival of the target who was approaching the foot of the mountain.
Taking in a deep breath, Rui smelled the blood of many fallen demons on this individual and the sheer anger that they had... it was a boy, not even a hashira and yet he spelled death for any demon he came across.
The silhouette of the demon slayer burned in Rui's mind as that steadily formed into the shape of a giant muscular creature with razor sharp teeth.
"He is a threat to my family's peace, he will join the rest of these pathetic humans." Rui swore as he felt the presence got closer to the mountain before his traps were sprung as he narrowed his eyes.
"And so it begins."
At the Foot of Mt. Natagumo
Tanjiro stood at the mouth of the forest as the darkness was ominous and eerie but that didn't deter the boy one bit as he narrowed his eyes at the forest.
"It smells of death and anguish." Tyler noted as Tanjiro nodded in anger.
"And I don't like it one bit."
With his body well rested and ready, Tanjiro took a deep breath before walking into the forest as the sounds from outside the forest were silenced as complete silence enveloped the environment.
Tanjiro was all too familiar with this feeling as the forest was being ruled by a powerful demon here and if it was a Twelve Kizuki then... its a great starting point.
"Tyler, keep your eyes peeled for any movement, this demon could be anywhere." Tanjiro said seriously as his eyes darted around.
"I always have your back partner." Tyler replied firmly as his host nodded in gratitude.
"This forest is the home of the Spider Demon Family which consists of the Father Demon, Mother Demon, Sister Demon, Brother Demon and finally Rui, Lower Moon Rank 5, as the youngest brother. With everything that has happened already, I won't be surprised if some outside force changes this fight entirely." Tyler thought as he was ready for anything at this point.
Tanjiro calmly walked through the forest as his enhanced hearing did pick up sounds in the distance and the occasionally cracking of bones as his eyes narrowed in anger at that.
