A recently turned adult under the name Tyler Jackson dies painfully at his job before being reincarnated into the world of Demon Slayer. Now being suddenly thrusted into a world where mankind is prey to demons and knowing of the many deaths to come...
The master was resting on a mat as he blindly looked up at the ceiling with a wet cloth on his forehead to steady his temperature. The lantern glowed softly in the corner of the room as the night was quiet, like it was every night.
Sighing softly, Ubuyashiki wasn't relaxed, not in the slightest as he was thinking about the Mt. Natagumo situation and how his children were dying on that mountain. He did tell his crow to send Tanjiro that way to see if he could handle the demon but so far, he hasn't heard anything yet. But since it is nightfall and a full day has passed since he last spoke to his crow, maybe tonight he'll hear something.
After about an hour of lying down, the flapping of wings entered his ears as soon enough, his crow flew in and landed gently beside him.
"What news do you bring?" Ubuyashiki asked gently as he forced himself to sit up.
"Tanjiro has made it to the mountain and is engaging the demons but... many demon slayers have died there." The crow reported.
"How many demons are on that mountain?"
"Five demons." The crow replied.
"Any powerful ones?" He asked as the crow nodded.
"One of them is a Lower Moon, the rest look to be companions of it." The avian reported.
"Which means they are probably just as strong as the Lower Moon." Ubuyashiki deduced as he thought about it before looking at his crow.
"I need you to summon some of the hashira here, please."
Mt. Natagumo
Darkness was all Rui could see as soon as he leapt into the black ooze as he found himself in a dark environment as there was nothing but darkness around him.
"What is this place? Where is the forest?" Rui asked as his voice echoed into the depths before fading away into the unknown.
Walking around, Rui continued looking around as he saw no signs of... anything, he didn't feel any other presence in his body, didn't see the demon slayer nor the Venom creature at all. He was just in a dark and quiet space with nowhere to go and no idea what to do.
Getting frustrated, Rui tried to use his Blood Demon Art but he was shocked when nothing happened as his eyes widened at that.
"I can't use my Blood Demon Art here... I can't use my abilities here at all." Rui said in shock as he looked around wildly to see something, anything at this point.
Suddenly, the dark space underneath him was ripped open as Rui fell through the opening and his eyes widened as he saw the sun glaring right at him. Immediately he shielded his face as he closed his eyes tightly before he hit the ground hard and pain flooded into his back before he healed from it but... he didn't burn up from the sun.
Uncovering his eyes, Rui squinted at the sun before looking at his surroundings as his eyes widened in disbelief. He was in the middle of a busy road as multitudes of people were walking as there was a lot of noise and strange metal machines rolled on wheels and honked loudly.
The houses here were incredibly tall as Rui looked up and saw that one building nearly touched the clouds as he gaped at the size of it.
