Nayeon shook her head in disbelief as she sat on Dahyun's bed, her arms crossed. "I can't believe you've been living in my idols' dorm this whole time and you didn't tell me! How did you hide it from me, of all people?"

Dahyun sighed, running a hand through her hair. "It wasn't easy, trust me. But it wasn't just my choice. It's for their safety too, you know? You're in PR, Nayeon. If you come here, other press might follow, and we didn't want to risk that."

Nayeon's expression softened. "I get that, but still... we're best friends. I can be discreet."

"I know," Dahyun said, nodding. "It wasn't that I didn't trust you. It's just-there's more. The company wasn't ready to announce everything about Maknae's illness either. We had to keep everything under wraps for his privacy."

Nayeon blinked, taken aback. "Maknae's... ill?"

Dahyun bit her lip, nodding. "Yeah. It's been tough, but we're managing. You know how protective the company is about stuff like that."

Nayeon reached over, taking Dahyun's hand in hers. "Relax, okay? You can trust me. I'd never do anything to jeopardize their safety. And if you ever need help, I'll be here."

Dahyun smiled, her eyes grateful. "I know you would."

The two stood up, and Nayeon pulled Dahyun into a tight hug. "You're incredible, you know that?"

Dahyun chuckled, hugging her back. "I try."

Just then, the smell of food drifted through the air, and their stomachs rumbled in unison. They exchanged amused glances before heading downstairs.

As they entered the kitchen, the scene was almost too perfect. Jin stood by the stove, confidently flipping something in a pan, while Taehyung helped set up plates on the counter. Nearby, J-Hope and RM were placing dishes of food on the table, their movements synchronized as they prepared for lunch.

"Hey, look who's here!" J-Hope greeted with a bright smile, waving at Nayeon and Dahyun.

RM glanced up from the table and gave Nayeon a polite nod. "Join us for lunch, Nayeon. Jin's cooking is something you shouldn't miss."

Nayeon blinked, stunned for a moment before realizing RM was speaking to her. "Oh, um, yeah, sure! I'd love to."

She followed Dahyun to the table, still in a bit of a daze. Her eyes kept darting to Jin, the so-called "Worldwide Handsome," who was now plating the food he'd just made. As he sat down across from her, Nayeon couldn't shake the feeling that she was living in a surreal dream. Every time she glanced up, she found herself locking eyes with Jin, who had an amused but gentle smile on his face. He seemed to notice her glances, but instead of making her uncomfortable, it made her heart race a little faster each time.

Dahyun noticed Nayeon's glances and smirked, elbowing her under the table. "Seriously?" she whispered, leaning over. "You look like you're going to faint."

"Shut it," Nayeon whispered back, trying to suppress the smile tugging at her lips.

As they began to eat, the conversation flowed easily. The members were full of jokes and stories, making Nayeon feel at ease, though she still found herself sneaking looks at Jin every now and then.

Midway through lunch, J-Hope suddenly looked at Nayeon and asked, "So, Nayeon, what do you do for a living?"

Nayeon blinked, caught off guard by the question. She hesitated for a second before answering. "Oh, I work in public relations."

"PR, huh?" Jin said, raising an eyebrow. "That must be interesting. You work with celebrities?"

Nayeon nodded, trying to keep her tone casual. "Sometimes, yeah. I help manage media relations, so... I guess I'm around a lot of press and events."

At the mention of the word "press," the room suddenly got quieter. The playful atmosphere took a slight turn as the members exchanged glances. Nayeon could feel their curiosity shift into something more cautious. RM leaned back in his chair, his gaze more calculating now, and Taehyung's easy smile faltered for a second.

Sensing the tension, Dahyun quickly stepped in. "Nayeon unnie's in PR, but she's someone we can trust. She's been my best friend for years, and she knows how important privacy is. She wouldn't do anything to put us in a tough spot."

The members seemed to relax a little at Dahyun's words, though they still appeared cautious. Jin cleared his throat, trying to break the silence. "Well, if Dahyun trusts you, then so do we."

Taehyung nodded. "Yeah, sorry if we seemed tense. We just have to be careful sometimes."

Nayeon gave them a reassuring smile. "I get it. I'd feel the same way if I were in your position. Don't worry-I'm here as Dahyun's friend, not a PR professional. Your secrets are safe with me."

The tension eased as the members returned to their usual selves. J-Hope cracked a joke, and RM changed the subject to something lighter. The conversation returned to the easy banter from earlier, and soon everyone was laughing again.

After lunch, the members began clearing the table, and Nayeon, feeling like she should contribute, stood up to help. "Can I do anything? Help with the dishes?"

Before anyone could respond, Jimin flashed a smile and waved her off. "No need. You're our guest. Just relax."

Nayeon hesitated, but eventually sat back down, feeling both relieved and awkward. J-Hope leaned over from the other end of the table, catching her eye. "So, Nayeon, how did you meet Dahyun? I'm curious."

Dahyun grinned, answering before Nayeon could. "We've been friends since high school. We used to go to dance classes together, though Nayeon was always better at it than me."

Nayeon laughed, shaking her head. "Hardly. You were the one with the natural rhythm."

J-Hope's eyes lit up. "Wait, you can dance? That's awesome! You should show us some moves later."

Nayeon's face turned red again. "Oh no, I'm way out of practice. I'd probably just embarrass myself." as they all laugh

In the early afternoon, Dahyun and Nayeon decided it was time for Nayeon to head back. Dahyun walked with her to the bus stop, the two friends chatting and laughing as they went.

The streets were bustling with activity, and the sunlight bathed the city in a warm glow. Nayeon looked around, taking in the sights and sounds. "I still can't believe I spent the day with BTS," she said with a chuckle. "This feels like a dream."

Dahyun smiled warmly. "I'm glad you had a good time. It's not every day you get to hang out with your bias, after all."

Nayeon's eyes sparkled. "Definitely not. I'm still trying to process it all."

They reached the bus stop, and Dahyun turned to face her friend. "Thanks for understanding everything. I really appreciate it."

Nayeon hugged her tightly. "Of course. And remember, if you need anything-whether it's support or just a friendly ear-don't hesitate to call."

Dahyun nodded, her eyes sincere. "I will. Thanks for being such a great friend."

As the bus approached, Dahyun waved goodbye, and Nayeon waved back, a smile on her face. She watched as the bus doors closed and the vehicle pulled away, carrying her back to her routine, but with a heart full of unforgettable memories.
