A few days later, RM and CEO Bang Si-hyuk, sat across from Yang Hyun-suk, the CEO of YG Entertainment, in a sleek, modern conference room. The tension in the air was palpable as both sides exchanged hard stares. RM, calm but determined, folded his hands in front of him as Bang Si-hyuk took the lead.
"We're here to make one thing clear," Bang Si-hyuk began, his voice steady but firm. "We will not tolerate any further interference from your idols with BTS, especially when it comes to matters of personal boundaries."
Yang Hyun-suk shifted in his seat but kept a neutral expression. "What exactly are you accusing my idols of?"
RM leaned forward, his voice low but clear. "We have proof that members of BLACKPINK, especially Lisa, have been meddling in ways that cross the line. It needs to stop, and we expect you to handle this before things escalate."
Yang Hyun-suk's face twitched slightly at the mention of proof, but he maintained his composure. "I assure you, we will take this matter seriously. We don't want any unnecessary problems between our groups."
Bang Si-hyuk wasn't convinced. "If we don't see a clear resolution, legal action will be our next step. This is your final warning."
For a brief moment, Yang Hyun-suk looked nervous. He glanced at RM, who met his gaze with calm intensity, showing that HYBE was ready to protect their members at all costs. Sighing, Yang Hyun-suk nodded. "Understood. I'll ensure this is handled appropriately."
RM and Bang Si-hyuk stood, ready to leave. As they exited, RM glanced back once more, giving Yang Hyun-suk a firm look as if to remind him that this wasn't a mere bluff.
However, as soon as they left, Yang Hyun-suk's expression hardened. The fear he showed earlier was nothing more than a façade. He leaned back in his chair, muttering under his breath, "We'll see how long this lasts..."
Back at the BTS dorm, RM sat down with Dahyun to fill her in on the tense meeting they had at YG Entertainment. His expression was a mix of relief and frustration as he recounted the details.
"We met with Yang Hyun-suk today," RM began, leaning back in his chair. "He said he'd handle the situation, but it felt more like an act. We'll have to keep an eye on things."
Dahyun nodded thoughtfully, her arms crossed as she listened. "I figured he wouldn't take it seriously. We'll have to see what happens next."
RM sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "We did what we could for now. Hopefully, that puts an end to the interference. How's Jungkook been doing?"
A small smile appeared on Dahyun's face. "He's fine now, actually. He doesn't react to any news about Lisa anymore. He seems to be moving on, which is nice."
RM nodded, visibly relieved. "That's good to hear. He's been through a lot, and it's a huge step for him."
Dahyun's smile faded slightly as she added, "Now that he's doing better, I think my job here is done. I'm planning to move back to my room soon."
RM raised an eyebrow. "You're leaving?"
She nodded, glancing away for a moment before meeting his gaze. "Yeah. It was important for me to be here when Mr. Jeon needed support, but now that he's stable, I think it's time. I don't want to overstay."
RM hesitated, clearly conflicted. "You've been a big help, not just to Jungkook but to all of us. We're going to miss having you around."
Dahyun smiled softly. "I'll still be around, just not here full-time. Besides, I think it's important for him to stand on his own now."
RM nodded in understanding, though there was a hint of reluctance in his eyes. "If that's what you think is best, we'll support your decision."
Dahyun's heart felt a bit heavy, but she knew it was time to step back. "Thanks, rm oppa. It's been quite a journey."
The next morning, the BTS dorm was unusually quiet. The members were just starting to wake up when they noticed a couple of suitcases in the living room. Jin, rubbing his eyes, was the first to speak up.
"Whose luggage is this?" he asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
Just then, Dahyun came out of the kitchen, carrying a tray of breakfast. She walked over to the dining table, setting down the food with a small, calm smile.
"It's mine," she replied, her tone gentle yet final.
The room fell silent for a moment. The members exchanged glances, unsure of how to react. Jungkook, sitting at the table, remained quiet, his eyes lowered to his plate. He hadn't said a word since he came downstairs. It was clear to everyone that her departure was affecting him the most.
After breakfast, Dahyun began preparing to leave. She said her goodbyes to each member, receiving warm hugs and heartfelt thanks from them for everything she had done. But as the time for her departure grew closer, Jungkook was nowhere to be found.
Concerned, Dahyun went upstairs to look for him, her heart heavy. She walked toward his room, gently knocking on the door, but there was no response. Slowly, she pushed the door open and found him standing by the window, his back facing her. The morning light cast soft shadows in the room, and there was an unmistakable tension in the air.
"Mr. Jeon," Dahyun called softly, stepping into the room.
He didn't turn around, keeping his gaze focused outside. Dahyun walked closer, her footsteps light, until she was standing beside him. She could see the conflict in his posture—the way his shoulders were tense, the way his hands were clenched into fists at his sides.
"I didn't even say goodbye," Jungkook finally muttered, his voice barely audible, laced with frustration and sadness. "You're leaving, and I don't know what to say."
Dahyun stood by Jungkook, sensing the storm of emotions swirling inside him as he stared out the window. She took a quiet breath, knowing that this moment was heavier for him than she had expected.
"You don't have to say anything," she said softly, breaking the silence between them.
Jungkook clenched his jaw, still not turning to face her. "It feels like you're walking away from me."
Dahyun swallowed, hearing the vulnerability in his voice. She stepped closer but kept her distance, knowing he needed space. "I'm not walking away, Mr. Jeon. You're strong enough to handle things on your own now. But I'm still here for you."
There was a long pause, the tension between them thick. Jungkook finally shifted, turning his head slightly but not looking directly at her. "It doesn't feel like that," he muttered. "It feels like... I don't know. Like I'm losing you."
Dahyun's heart ached at his words. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small card, holding it out to him. "You're not losing me," she said, her voice calm and steady. "You know where to find me."
Jungkook glanced down at the card, hesitant at first, but then slowly took it from her. His eyes lingered on it for a moment before looking back out the window. "You really think I'm ready to do this on my own?" he asked, his voice quieter now.
Dahyun nodded, though he couldn't see it. "I do. And I'll still be around when you need me. I'm just a call away."
Jungkook didn't respond right away, but he tucked the card into his pocket. The silence between them was filled with unspoken emotions—confusion, sadness, and maybe even a little bit of acceptance.
As Dahyun turned to leave the room, she paused by the door, glancing back at him one last time. "Take care of yourself, Mr. Jeon," she said softly. "You've got this."
Jungkook didn't say anything, but the way he stood, slightly more at ease, told her that he had heard her.
Without another word, Dahyun walked out, leaving Jungkook standing by the window, holding her card in his hand as he processed everything that had just happened. The space she left behind felt heavier, but also a little lighter, knowing that he wasn't truly alone.
