"Wait, what?" You stammered, disbelief coloring your words as you struggled to comprehend what you had just heard. The Ryomen Sukuna... had actually said that?

Your mind raced, attempting to process the unexpected confession. Was he serious, or was this some kind of joke?

"I... like you. No, I mean, I'm in love with you," Sukuna declared, his voice tinged with a mixture of uncertainty and frustration as he stumbled over his words.

"Wait, hold on a second," Sukuna interjected, shaking his head as if to clear his thoughts. "I mean, when someone says they're in love, it doesn't necessarily mean they're in love with every single thing about them, right? Because I'm not, like, head over heels in love or anything. I just... like you. But I'm not in love."

As Sukuna rambled on, attempting to clarify his feelings to himself more than anything, you couldn't help but burst into laughter. Tears of amusement filled your eyes as you struggled to contain your mirth.

Sukuna, however, didn't seem amused; irritation flickered across his features as he watched you laugh at him.

"What's so fucking funny?" Sukuna hissed, his irritation palpable.

"No, it's just..." You struggled to compose yourself, wiping away the tears of laughter as you gathered your thoughts. "I... like you too."

Sukuna leaned in closer, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he teased, "Hmm, what was that?"

Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment as you avoided his gaze, feeling the heat rising. "I said... I like you," you mumbled, the words barely audible.

"I can't hear you," Sukuna continued to tease, leaning in even closer.

You snapped your eyes towards him, a scowl forming on your face. "I said I like you!" you shouted, the volume higher than you intended.

Sukuna chuckled, his smirk widening. "No need to shout. I understand your love for me is very passionate and strong."

Your jaw dropped in disbelief as you attempted to push him away, only to find yourself trapped in his arms. God he was so unbearable sometimes.

"So... are we...?" You ventured, unsure of where you and Sukuna stood now. Were you just friends with benefits? It didn't feel quite right.

"Are we what?" Sukuna teased, his playful demeanor still evident. He seemed to enjoy watching you squirm.

You let out a frustrated sigh, knowing he was deliberately prolonging the conversation. "Are we together?" you asked bluntly, cutting straight to the point.

Sukuna paused, his expression growing serious as he considered the question. Why was he hesitating? You could sense where this was heading.

"I've never done relationships, y/n," Sukuna admitted, his tone solemn. You braced yourself for disappointment.

"Ah, okay then, it's fi-" you started to say, but Sukuna interrupted you before you could finish.

"But I'm willing to try if it's with you," he clarified, his words catching you off guard.

A flicker of hope ignited within you as you realized he might be open to something more than just casual.

You moved closer to him, your hand gently caressing his cheek as your fingers traced over his tattoo. "Alright then, boyfriend," you declared, emphasizing the word loudly.

Sukuna chuckled, leaning into your touch and wrapping his hand around your waist.

It was all a bit surreal. You had broken up with Nanami and ended up with Sukuna all in the span of a day. Wasn't that a little too abrupt?
