Sukuna returned home, casually tossing his keys aside as he stepped into his penthouse. In the living room, Toji and Kenjaku were engrossed in a soccer match, while Megumi lingered in the kitchen, absently munching on an apple while browsing his phone.

"Back so soon?" Kenjaku remarked with a smirk as Sukuna sank into the couch beside them.

"How was it?" Toji chimed in, a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Terrible. Dealing with that woman was a headache," Sukuna groaned in reply.

"Not the first time, huh?" Kenjaku remarked, lounging back on the couch with his arms folded behind his head.

Sukuna let out a noncommittal hum, closing his eyes in relaxation as the group settled back into their routine of watching TV together.

It was a familiar scene—Kenjaku, Toji, Megumi, and Choso always by his side, wherever he went.

Then, as if suddenly remembering, Sukuna's thoughts shifted to you—your mysterious disappearance weighing on his mind, a lingering curiosity stirring within him.

"Kenjaku," he began, opening his eyes to address him, who hummed in response, still fixated on the screen.

"I need some information on Y/n L/n. Can you manage that?" he asked.

Toji and Kenjaku's attention snapped toward Sukuna, their eyes widening at the mention of your name. Even Megumi paused, glancing up from his phone.

"Y/n?" Kenjaku repeated, sounding almost surprised.

Toji cleared his throat, clasping his hands together as he leaned forward slightly.

"You should steer clear of that girl, Ryomen," he said in a serious tone. Sukuna raised an eyebrow.

"It's because she's she's engaged!" Kenjaku nervously laughed. "Seriously though, Sukuna. Don't go after engaged women."

"Hah, as if. There's something intriguing about that woman... I'm not going to let her slip away," Sukuna smirked to himself, his mind wandering to less-than-innocent thoughts.

Kenjaku and Toji shared a silent exchange, their thoughts aligning on the same wavelength.

Efforts had been made to shield Sukuna from his past, to keep it buried deep. Even Yuki was now absent from his life, her connection with Yuji deemed too risky.

The fear loomed that if Sukuna ever discovered the truth about Yuji, he might revert to his darker inclinations.

So they concocted a fabrication. They spun a tale of his parents perishing in a tragic car accident, with Toji stepping in as Sukuna's adoptive father, raising him alongside Megumi and Choso in their home. Yuji's existence was scrubbed from the narrative entirely.

Some might say it's cruel, but their intentions were rooted in safeguarding him. They couldn't bear the thought of Sukuna being consumed by the grief of losing his brother, spiraling into an abyss from which he might never emerge.

Informing Sukuna's friends and classmates of the altered reality became necessary. Sukuna himself remained detached from them, having no recollection of their existence and no inclination to reconnect.

And despite the weight of the deception, Sukuna ultimately embraced the new life that had been crafted for him.

"Damn it!" Nobara's frustrated shout reverberated as her fist met the table with force. You couldn't help but chuckle, taking a leisurely sip from your milkshake.
