TW- swearing, mentions of murder
Wilbur's POV:
This week has been... stressful. Between Ash turning up with a cast on Tuesday after complaining about his wrist all of Monday, Dream apologizing to us all and Tommy saying my name (nearly) for the first time.
So yea, his first speech therapy session went great. They were working on the sounds and syllables needed for all our names because that's been identified as an 'area of need' and apparently Tommy didn't actually need that much help with my name because when he saw me after school he kept saying, 'Wibur'. The l is missing, but I honestly don't mind. I mean, he could have kept calling me 'bur' that was all okay too. I was just happy and proud.
He kept saying it all evening. James said it was good to practice so when we had dinner, Mum got him to practice all our names. My name is the closest. Mum is lost to Ma. Dad doesn't even really get referred to, Tommy just points or signs father, not dad. Techno gets called Te, still, and it's still cool. Tubbo gets called Tubs and he honestly prefers it, even if it's a little embarrassing in some situations. But now, I'm Wibur. I like being Wibur.
I helped Tubbo out with his english homework over the weekend. Techno was supposed to but he got busy with his own school work and Baz had got him to help out with the saturday morning judo sessions now, so he was pretty busy. He liked working though. He's still doing the youtube stuff. He uploaded his first video this week. It was just him playing some bedwars on minecraft and voicing it over with a funny story. I liked it. Tubbo thought it was quite funny, but he'd watched it so many times by the time it came out because he'd edited it. Techno's hyperfocus ran out before he got to learn how to edit, but Tubbo picked it up really quickly and he loves it. They worked on it all evening on Friday.
Dad got a bit annoyed because Tubbo might have worked on it more than he did that piece of english homework I ended up helping with, but ultimately, everything that needed to be done was done and that was a success.
The weather was horrific over the weekend. Like really bad. I think we've all gone a bit mad with cabin fever, especially Tommy.
It was too wet and windy to get out the house for very long. Mum kept Tommy busy with trains and homework and music, but he liked getting outside. Tubbo said they didn't have much choice but to go out in weather like this, so he wasn't really used to days inside. Apart from when he was just with his dad and I don't think that's a good thing.
I sat and read with him for a bit, but he doesn't like the way I read out loud so I ended up being clobbered in the side of the head with the book and Tommy ended up taking a break upstairs. Not exactly successful.
But I guess for once, it was just a normal weekend. Nothing bad happened, nothing much great or interesting either. It's strange. Nothing normal really ever happens in my family. There's always something different or difficult.
Techno's POV:
When my video got a whole 10 views in the first 12 hours, I was hyped. Until I realised all of them were people I knew. Mainly Tommy who kept asking to watch it all weekend and was really upset on Monday when he realised he couldn't access it in school. James took 2 hours getting him calm enough to go to maths last thing. I had a free period last thing, but told Dad not to pick me up because it wasn't worth the extra trip. So I saw the struggle of it all.
The SEND department got too quiet for my liking, so I ventured back up to the sixthform centre for the first time this year. The new year 12's looked at me and whispered but I was only stood awkwardly in the corner of the communal workspace for a couple seconds before Sam raised his hand and beckoned me over.
