The next morning Teagan woke up with a headache as she sat up in bed, trying her hardest to remember what happened the night before. As Teagan began to climb out of bed, Nick rushed into the room and rushed over to the bed with aspirin and water placing both on the table beside Teagan, before attempting to help her.

"Baby you really should be taking it easy. You had quite an eventful night last night," Nick said while helping Teagan sit up by the headboard. Nick reached over for the aspirin and water, handing it to Teagan, who gladly took it and swallowed the pills with the water, before she cleared her throat.

"What happened last night," Teagan asked.

"You were attacked at Shadyside mall by the killer. He was about to kill you, but I shot and killed him, saving you from being stabbed to death," Nick explained.

"That doesn't explain the raging headache that I woke up with just now," Teagan said, knowing damn well that Nick was hiding something from her.

"Shortly after I killed the kid who was attempting to kill you, you collapsed from blood loss, hitting your head on the floor. Lucky us, you got the blood transfusion you needed and I was able to bring you home and love up on you all night long until we both fell into a peaceful sleep, holding tight onto one another," Nick answered.

Teagan gave Nick a skeptical look, letting him know that she knew he was lying to her. "Is that really the story you want to stick with?"

"It's not like you remember much from last night anyway," Nick said.

"Funny you say that, because memories from last night are coming back to me. I remember witnessing the death of Heather Watkins, and Ryan Torres. I remember going to the hospital to get a few stitches for the wound that Ryan Torres gave me, when he swung his knife at me. I also remember coming home from the hospital, arguing with you about Shadyside. And I also remember you getting so damn upset with mem, that you bashed my head into the window knowing me out in your car," Teagan dead panned while glaring at Nick.

Nick only shrugged his shoulders. "Let's take a moment to think this through. If someone outside of this house were to ask us both what happened to you, and we both told them our own versions of the story, who do you think they would believe? You, a woman who was originally from Shadyside, whose ancestors have done some sketchy things; or me the sheriff who protects all, is originally from Sunnyvale, whose ancestors have done nothing but great things to make Sunnyvale the most thriving, successful town that it is today. Truly take a moment to think about that, because if you were to tell people the truth, they would think you're lying. They would go and think that a good guy like me isn't capable of hurting his wife; especially when I go through all the damn trouble to make sure you have the things that you didn't have while you were growing up. By the way walking around talking about how you have pride in being a Shadvsider, not a very good look for you darling. So, if I were you, I would cut that part of my past out of my life and embrace being a Sunnyvaler; as well as being the Sheriff's wife. It will help you go places.

Teagan only glared at Nick knowing what he was saying was the damn truth, should she try and go speak ill of her "perfect" husband who was the sheriff, who also lives in Sunnyvale. People would never believe a damn thing she told them, since she would be speaking ill of the Sunnyvaler Teagan knew she had to be smart about this. That and she would have to bide her time, just until she gathered enough proof to show people that her loving husband was anything but. The only problem was, getting proof of how much of a monster Nick Goode truly was.

Teagan broke herself out of her thoughts making another attempt to climb out of bed, only to be stopped by Nick placing a hand on her shoulder. "It would be nice if you removed your hand from my shoulder, husband. I do have to get up, make breakfast and be on my merry way to work. It's the only joy that brings me peace, happiness and keeps me from going insane."

Nick removed his hand from Teagan's shoulder, watching as she slowly got up from the bed, before deciding to speak up. "Oh, I have been meaning to tell you..."

This only caught Teagan's attention, causing her to give him a skeptical look. "What have you done now, Nicholas Goode?"

"It's nothing bad Teagan. I can assure you of that," Nick said while ignoring the fact that Teagan had called him Nicholas.

"Then what is it? Because I don't have all day to play these kinds of games with you. I do have to get to work. You know to go and make money. That and getting out of this house for a little while to help me forget who the hell I'm married to," Teagan said mumbling the last part, though Nick still heard her anyway.

"You heard me right darling. You have a new job now," Nick said. "I thought it would be nice for you to work alongside each other. That way you won't grow bored staying home, you won't have to work at the Shadyside school as a teacher dealing with a bunch of students who don't appreciate all that you do to help them."

"Why would you go and tell my bosses that I would not be returning to my job?!? I enjoy teaching the students of Shadyside. They are all bright students, who have bright futures if given the right guidance," Teagan said defending her students.

"You could have taught the students at Sunnyvale. But like always you disobeyed me and decided to go and teach students at Shadyside," Nick said.

"I felt a calling to go to Shadyside high school to help those students. I would like to see them break free from Shadyside and make something of themselves. But like everything else you took that choice away from me. And for what...only to have me work alongside you, so that way you can keep an eye on my every move. It's like you're going out of your damn way to control me," Teagan snapped.

"I only did what is best for you. You will accept that, and stop being such a bitch about it. Besides, I feel it would be good for the two of us. It may help strengthen our marriage. Now get up and get dressed. I will go downstairs and start making breakfast for us. And please don't make me have to be the bad guy to come up here and drag you downstairs. We both know I'm not that terrible of a person to do that. I do all that I do, because I love and care about you so damn much. The sooner you realize that and stop thinking that I'm out to cause you misery and pain, the sooner our marriage can be happy. Hell, I would like a moment when we conceive a baby Goode to be a joyous one filled with excitement and love. Is that too much to ask for," Nick asked.

"You truly are unbelievable. You seriously expect me to want to have a baby with you? What on God's green earth makes you think that I would go and subject and innocent child to this kind of life," Teagan asked.

"What is wrong with our life? We live comfortably. Hell, we have enough money that only one of us needs to work. I allow you the freedom to work, because you already made it perfectly clear that, if you are kept home, you would get bored, and you would find your way back to Shadyside, and stir up some trouble," Nick said while growing angry. Nick took a deep breath, calming himself down before speaking up again. "I have given you everything that you could ever possibly want and so much more. The least you can do for me, is love me like a devoted wife loves her husband; and give me a few kids to carry on the Goode legacy. I know you are capable of giving me all of that. In due time, you will even grow to like the idea of having a baby around. And by then, you will be close to becoming a mommy and starting our own little family together."

"I would never give myself to you. I would give my body to Kurt before you," Teagan snapped.

Nick grabbed Teagan's face forcing her to look at him. We will see about that, Nick thought to himself.
