Teagan stood by Nick behind the podium, watching as the players from Shadyside made their way off the bus. Good luck to you Shadyside. If anyone deserves to win tonight's game, it's you guys, Teagan thought to herself, before being pulled out of her thoughts by her husband grabbing her and pulling her closer to himself as he walked away with her.

Both Deena and Kate noticed the Sheriff grab hold of Teagan pulling her away from the crowd.

Deena began following Sheriff Goode and his wife, feeling that something was off with the way he was treating her. Kate being a good friend, followed behind Deena, to make sure she didn't get herself in any trouble. As they rounded the corner, Deena and Kate spotted Sheriff Goode having a serious talk with Teagan, before he forcefully placed a kiss on Teagan's lips.

Kate pulled Deena away before Sheriff Goode caught them spying on him and his wife.

"I didn't think you were into a married couple about to get it on before the football game," Kate said.

"No Kate. That is not what we witnessed happening and you know it. What we saw, was the sheriff forcing a kiss on Teagan. Maybe that's why she never wanted anybody to know her last name. She didn't want people knowing about her unhappy marriage," Deena said trying to piece everything together.

"How can you make the assumption that Teagan is miserable in her marriage? Then again, if anything if I was married to Sheriff Goode, I would most likely be miserable too; not being able to do all the shit that Simon and I do, as well as the shit that we sell, just so we can get enough money to get out of this cursed town," Kate said.

"Yeah, well not everything is always about sex either. Besides, if the Sheriff truly loved and cared about Teagan, he wouldn't treat her the way that he is right now," Deena said.

"Alright enough about Teagan and the Sheriff. You have more important things to worry about. Like finding Sam and giving her all of her things back, so that way you can get back on the road to happiness. Trust me, the moment you get rid of every part of Sam out of your life, the easier it will be for you to heal, move on and be happy again," Kate said as she and Deena made their way back to the crowd, joining Simon, watching as the Sheriff and his wife made their way back to where the podium was.

Teagan stood behind watching as Nick made his way up to the podium to make his speech, stating how he was saddened by the death of Heather and how he feels sorry for the death of Ryan, but at the time he didn't have much of a choice but to end Ryan's life as a self-defense move, because Ryan posed as a threat to him.

Teagan rolled her eyes at all that Nick was saying, knowing he couldn't see her doing so. You didn't make any attempt to approach Ryan and try to disarm him. You only shot him, when you saw him coming at you with the knife, Teagan thought to herself, before looking out at the crowd spotting Deena, Kate and Simon standing there glaring at Deena's ex-girlfriend, Sam.

Oh, dear God. I never wanted them to find out about this. Being in an unhappy marriage with Nick was the very last thing I wanted them to find out about. Chances are Kate hates me, and is now trying to convince Simon and Deena to do the same thing. Can this dam night get any worse, Teagan thought to herself before spotting Deena and Sam walking away from the huge crowd together. "And it looks like things are continuing to get worse."

"Deena," Sam started.

"Save it. I saw the way you were so happy with your new boyfriend. It's like you forgot about your life back at Shadyside...You forgot what we had. No wait, you didn't forget. You traded it in so you could have everything you have now. A perfect life," Deena cut Sam off.

"I didn't ask for this! I was forced to move to Sunnyvale. My mom didn't approve of our relationship, and made my dad and I move here. My mom thought it would save me from making a mistake. I never wanted to leave you or hurt you the way that I did," Sam explained.

"Well, that all appears to be a lie, since you're happy now. Here's your stuff back Samantha Fraser. I don't ever want anything to do with you and the hurt you caused me ever again," Deena said before dropping the box containing Sam's things in it, leaving Sam standing there crying, hurt and heartbroken.

Deena ran back to her friends, only to accidentally bump into someone along the way. Deena looked up and saw Teagan standing there.

"Ms. Teagan, or should I be calling you Mrs. Goode," Deena asked.

"Deena, I know you are hurt. But that doesn't change things between us. Nor does it change the fact that I kept my marriage to the sheriff a secret. But I did it for personal reasons," Teagan explained.

"Like what," Deena asked.

"Like the fact that I'm not all that happy in my marriage for one. I'm sure you heard about my absence over at Shadyside High school," Teagan said.

"Yeah. Simon heard several people talking about that. What is the deal with that anyway," Deena asked.

Teagan went to answer, but was stopped shortly before she could.

"There you are honey. You know I don't like it when you go wandering off without telling me where you are going," Nick said before turning his attention to Deena. "Thank you so much for finding my sweet wife. She's always somehow managing to sneak away and out of m y sight, though I keep telling her that it is very important that she tells someone, so that way we can avoid the whole mall incident again."

"What incident? That was a tragedy that took place int he mall. Two Shadyside students are dead, never to graduate and achieve their dreams," Deena said growing more and more upset that the Sheriff was treating the death of Heather and Ryan like it was a normal thing. It may be normal for him to see, but to Deena, those were Deena's classmates. To Teagan, those were her students, who had very bright futures ahead of them.

Sheriff Goode was quick to pick up the fact that he offended the young Shadyside teenager and quickly corrected himself. "I didn't mean it like that. The two Shadyside teens who tragically lost their lives do matter; and they will be missed by everyone. But the incident I was referring t, was when the one teen, Ryan Torres slashed Teagan in an attempt to kill her for trying to save Heather. That's what Teagan told me that night. And Ryan would have successfully killed Teagan had I not been there to save her from him. That is why I talked my wife into leaving her teaching job. I wanted her to work closer to home. That and I didn't want to risk her having a panic attack of any sorts. She is still a bit shaken up by what happened that night."

"People were talking about how Mrs. Goode left, because she wanted to get away from Shadyside all together after the tragedies," Deena said keeping the truth from Sheriff Goode.

"Well, whatever you are hearing, being spread around your school is all made up. Not an ounce of truth to it," Nick said.

Just like there isn't an ounce of truth to what you're telling Deena. Please Deena be smart and don't believe a damn word of what Nick is telling you. He will tell any lie to make himself look good, Teagan thought to herself.

"I really should be heading back to my friends now. I'm pretty sure they're worried about me, and will most likely send a search party for me if I don't get back to them soon," Deena said before turning to Teagan. "I wish you a speedy recovery. Hopefully we will see you back at Shadyside High school, teaching once again. It would be cool if my brother Josh got a chance to have you as a teacher," Deena said before turning and walking away, missing the tears that started flowing down Teagan's face.

"Don't even think about it," Nick said while grabbing hold of Teagan's arm, killing any hope of her getting away from him.
