Teagan gave Deena a sympathetic smile while shaking her head now. "You're not screwed as long as you don't tell Nick what you said to me. Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. But it's Sam you should be worrying about. She's bleeding," Deena explained.

"I want to make sure that you're alright first. Us Shadysiders need to stick together, even if I'm no longer residing there. I will always put the fellow people of my home town first," Teagan said before Nick approached Deena with Peter following behind him.

Teagan rolled her eyes at the teenage boy who thinks he's going to get away with everything that he's done.

Spoiled brat from Sunnyvale, always acting privileged and above the damn law. Karma will come and bite him in the ass one day for the way he treats people, Teagan thought to herself.

Teagan turned to look at her husband ignoring Peter's presence. "Is there any reason as to why that kid came over here with you? Surely, he has no reason to come talk to Deena."

"I only came over to make sure that she was alright. Am I not allowed to do that," Peter asked.

"I would prefer that you stay away from the students of Shadyside. You don't have anything in common with them; and you sure as hell don't give a damn about them. You only care about the fact that your car is wrecked. I'm sure you're only here to say something along the lines of how Deena is going to pay for what she had done to your car," Teagan said, causing Peter's ace to drop. "You're not as slick as you make yourself out to be. I have been around and dealt with boys like you. None of you are any different that the last one that I had an encounter with."

"That's enough honey. The young man does not need you going and lecturing him like you are his mother. She's got the job of teaching her son right from wrong taken care of," Nick said causing Teagan to turn and an unpleased look. "Now baby, don't give me that look. Remember we both agreed that we would be civil with one another when we talk about things like this. And glaring at your loving and devoted husband like that is not keeping the peace between the two of us. It's only leading up to problems later on down the road."

"Now hubby, do you honestly believe that it's appropriate to go and talk about marital issues, when you should be figuring out who is at fault here," Teagan asked.

"Right," Nick said turning his attention to Deena. "So, I had the chance to talk to the young man Peter, who said he was driving his car behind the bus. He claims that he didn't do anything wrong; and that he was going out for a casual drive with his friends and girlfriend, then out of the blue, you happened to lose your cool, by seeing your ex-girlfriend looking happy and having moved on from you quickly."

Deena got an offended look on her face while Teagan looked at Nick, silently asking him if he truly believed that bull crap story that he was told. "You can't seriously believe that story that Peter told you. Of course he's going to lie and twist the story to make himself look innocent in all of this."

"No offense Sheriff Goode, but if you go and believe the bull crap story that you were told, then you're a complete moron, who has nothing better to do, other than pick on people from Shadyside," Kate spoke up.

"Yeah. That guy is far from innocent. He came chasing our bus down. He chased us all the way to Shadyside. We were only trying to get them to stop chasing us, but we didn't know that the latch on the emergency door of the bus was broken. Had we known, we would have been able to stop this incident from happening, and we would be home by now, getting ready for the next day of school," Simon argued.

"They wrecked my car on purpose," Peter began to say.

"And you had no business, tailgating a school bus the way that you were. Had you been driving a safe distance behind them, and not been going bumper to bumper with the bus, all of this mess could have been avoided. And your car insurance would have never been raised. Now be the bigger person and apologize to the students of Shadyside so we can call it a night and get home," Nick said shocking Teagan.

Peter walked over to Deena pulling her into a hug, whispering in her ear. "You will pay dearly for this." Peter then pulled away, glaring at Deena, before walking to the ambulance waiting to take him and to get his head checked for serious damage while they also took care of his girlfriend Sam.

Nick waited until the ambulance left with Peter and Sam, before turning to Deena and her friends speaking up. "You're free to go back home. But if you encounter anymore issues with him, give me a call at the station and I will deal with him."

"Thanks," Deena said before she, Kate and Simon climbed back on the bus.

"Teagan is Sheriff Goode's wife? What on earth is she doing with him," Simon asked.

"Simon don't get any ideas. We all know that you harbor secret feelings for Ms. Teagan, but it's not going to happen. You're underage. I doubt she's into that kind of thing," Kate said.

"Simon, didn't you have her as a teacher," Deena asked.

"Dee, if I had any classes with Mrs. Goode, I wouldn't have skipped any of them and that would be the only class that I would ace with flying colors; as well as going to her after school for a little extra help" Simon replied.

"And you are a pervert for thinking that way about the Sheriff's wife. I'm sure if he were to hear you talk about the way you think about his wife, he wouldn't appreciate it," Kate said.

Nick drove all the way back to the station with Teagan by his side. As he pulled into the station, Teagan turned to her husband with a confused look on her face.

"Nick, what are we doing back at the station? I thought that you were going to bring me back home, while you finished your shift here at the station. I didn't think you wanted me hanging around the station, while you work," Teagan said.

"Normally I wouldn't like to have you here while I work. But as far as I know right now, there are no dangerous criminals coming in. And I don't exactly want to leave you home all alone," Nick said. "Why don't we head inside the station where we can get comfortable while we talk?"

"Is that all that you are looking for," Teagan asked.

"Teagan, baby, I know limits alright? Give me a little more credit than what you have been giving me. I know not to mix work with my homelife. Which is why I know we will have such a successful marriage...even if you're always thinking in the sense of the doom and gloom. I just want you to really put an effort into this marriage, please," Nick begged.

"Did you start dating me, because you felt bad that my boyfriend went crazy, and I had lost the only piece of him that I had left? Or was it because you and Kurt had some sick twisted competition going on to see who could get me to sleep with them first. I want you to be completely honest with me," Teagan said.

"I had a massive crush on you, but then you moved back to Shadyside and I was crushed. I saw you at camp and was gonna tell you what I felt for you. But then when I saw you again, I was crushed when I found out that you were with Tommy again," Nick explained.
