Unexpected : Series Of Incidence

CH-3 THE BASEMENT

"Knock , Knock, Knock"
"Who's it?", Sam asked
"It's me Sam." The person at the door said.
"Kevin Sir?", Everyone said with a questionable face.
Cindy wasn't able to understand who's this now and why is he here?
Sam opened the door revealing Kevin in front of them. Everyone was smiling except Cindy, obviously she don't know who is he.
"Kevin sir how are you? We are so happy you are back.", Danny said.
"I'm perfectly fine Danny, i got discharged yesterday and yeah im back, i thought that I'll be resting for some more time but no, I got to know about the mess that Mr.Will had sent yesterday, I do have to come to clear it." Kevin said
"So you were here all the time, did you kill them?" Sam said
"Yeah i was here but a bit late, Carl got stabbed 3 times before i got here. I've sent him to the hospital." Kevin was interrupted by worried Cindy
"Stabbed!!?, but.... Is he okay?...TELL ME.."
Kevin looked at her, his eyes got big after seeing Cindy in front of her, " Y..O...U.." he was again interrupted by John who took him to another corner. They were talking secretly.
They came back infront of them.
"Yes he is okay, he is in hospital. It will take almost 1-2weeks for him to get well." Kevin said
"1-2 weeks..? Is it that bad?" Cindy said
" Yeah a kind of. Thankfully i came on the right or he wasn't alive right now." Kevin said
"Thank god you were here sir. You are really great. You saved him as well as us." Grace said
"Now lets have breakfast, I'm hungry " Kevin said.
Everyone nodded and walked out of the room. Cindy was about to get out of the room when the view of last night came in front of her. She stopped right there. Everyone got out of her room. She was alone in the room. She was thinking what if the floor is still covered with blood, what if dead bodies are still there.
She was just thinking about this and that. She came near the door and decided to take a peek. When she opened the door and looked outside, her eyes got big. Everything was clean, no blood, no dead bodies, no damage, everything was in their places. She was confused but she walked out of the room. She had her breakfast and walked back to her room.
She was sitting on her bed and thinking about the incidences that were happening.
"So the kidnapper's name is Carl. And this new man is Kevin. What kind of connection is between them? Why was i kidnapped? Why they are not keeping me like they show in the movies how kidnappers keep you? Why they are saving me? What is behind that door? Did they asked money from mommy? Where is mommy? Is she looking for me? Should i try to leave this place but how? They are good to me but what is the reason behind it? " Her thoughts.
She was thinking of running away. But she didn't know how ?. She decided to walk through the whole place so that she can make a plan.
She got up from her bed and walked towards the door and opened it. She looked right side, and then left side.
"No one, phewwww" Cindy .
She walked around the whole palace for almost 2 hours. Her legs hurt now. She decided to look through the garden area too. She was walking through the garden area when she overheard someone,
" You know that girl whom Mr. Carl took here. She is beautiful isn't it. Mr Will is behind her. He wants to kill her because of the past happenings with Mr. Carl. And you know Mr. Will was provoked by Mrs. Shin. It's not true whatever Mrs.Shin had told to Mr. Will."
" Ya i know. Mr. Will and Mr. Carl are business rivals but they were really good friends. They always kept a great distance between professional and personal life. I do wish that the misunderstanding gets clear between them. And did you saw Mr. Carl's face, since Cindy is here. He is so happy. Afterall she..."
He was interrupted by someone else, "Hey!!!! Come here." They both walked towards the voice.
Cindy was in so much confusion. Who am i to him? Who is he actually? Why do Mr. Will wants to kill me?
She shook her head and tried to find a way to get out of here. She was looking here and there but couldn't find any way. The walls were really big for her to climb over them. She sigh. She gets inside the palace.
" I need to get out of here. I need to check whether mommy is okay or not? I'm missing mommy so much. But there's no way. There are guards standing outside." Her thoughts.
She goes back to her room as she was so tired. She lay down on her bed and took a nap. She took a nap for almost 45 minutes. When she opened her eyes, she was staring the ceiling. An idea pop up into her mind.
"In movies they show that there are basements. And they get out of there from the basement. I think there should be something like that in the basement area. Wow Cindy, you are amazing"
Cindy decided to check the basement at night.
It was night time, she had her dinner. When everyone fall asleep , she took a torch with her and walked outside to find the way to basement. She was looking everywhere but she didn't find any way. She was feeling thirsty so she get into the kitchen area.
There was someone in the kitchen. She almost got a heartattack. She walked back and hide.
" Did you check whether the basement's exit doors are closed or not?" One of the staff
" No I didn't."
" But why it was your duty today."
"Oh i forgot about it. Can you come with me"
"Ahhh okay fine"
Cindy was lucky, she was about to get a way out from here. She saw the way to the basement was from the kitchen, behind the fridge.
"Fridge? Wow what a mysterious palace"
She walked behind the staff get to the basement. She was very happy. As she was about to get out of here.
The staff locked the door of the exit. Cindy hide somewhere in the basement and waited for the staff to go.
The staff left the place. Cindy get out of the place from where she was hiding. She light up the torch and looked around. The basement was having so many things. She saw something in the basement. She goes near one of the wall. She saw her mom's photo on the wall. She saw a photo was on the floor too. She picked it up and saw it was her.
"Why is our photo here?" She said.
She took the photo and put it in her pocket. She get to the exit door and break the locks.
While she was walking through the dark way. She was feeling a little scared. It was all dark.
After a good 15min walk, she heard some noises coming from a distance.
" We need to kill them."
They were coming near to Cindy. Cindy got scared , the torch fell from her hand.
"Who's it?", the voice at a distance
Cindy ran back from where she came
The voice of running people behind her were coming closer and closer.

Will Cindy get caught? Will she able to escape? What will happen to her if Carl found it? Who is running behind her? Why was her and her mother's photo in the basement? Will she try again to leave the palace? Was that man Carl or Mr. Will? Or was it someone else.
