Narrator:

Liam scanned the bustling hallway, his eyes searching for Damian. He felt a knot of anxiety tightening in his stomach. He needed to talk to Damian, to find out if he knew about the rumors swirling around the school. He had to know.

Liam spotted Damian laughing with a group of friends, his shoulders relaxed, his smile easy. Liam's heart sank. He felt a pang of jealousy, a feeling he had never experienced before. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. He had to do this.

Liam: Damian! We need to talk, right now!

Damian turned, his smile fading as he saw the seriousness in Liam's eyes. "W-why?"

Liam: I'm serious. Come on, just the two of us!

Damian hesitated, his gaze darting between Liam and his friends. He felt a strange mix of apprehension and curiosity. He sensed something was wrong.

Damian: S-sure... nervously walking away from his friends

Liam: Do you know about the rumors about us?

Damian's eyes widened in surprise. "What about it? Is it the one that I'm dating you and we lived together?"

Liam's heart pounded in his chest. "You knew! And you didn't even bother telling me!"

Damian shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "It's just rumors. It's not a big deal. Chill out."

Liam's face flushed with anger. He felt a wave of disappointment wash over him. He couldn't believe Damian was so dismissive. He had been worried, upset, and hurt by the rumors, and Damian just brushed it off.

Liam: Still, you should've told me about it...

Liam turned and walked away, his shoulders slumped, his eyes filled with hurt. He couldn't believe Damian's words. "It's just rumors, it's not a big deal, chill out." The words echoed in his mind, a constant reminder of Damian's indifference.
