Chapter 10 We Started the Fire!

An Exposition set off, creating a massive explosion above the ceiling and pieces started to fly over the places. As Shay and Ezekiel saw the exposition happen, they also saw Phantom fall down from the exposition and crash onto one of the surrendering guards, killing the person entirely by slamming the side of a working table.
Everyone inside the warehouses started screaming as the impact of the blast set the bottom end of the plants on fire, quickly spreading like a bushfire.

"Ahhhh!!!" Screamed one of the labour workers.

"RUN FOR YOUR F##### LIVES!!!" Shouted the other.

"Are we still getting paid tonight, Mum?" Said a small girl's voice.

"Really?! There's a fire going on, and you're worried about that?" the mother Cries out to her daughter and pulls her out to safety.

"Don't worry! I got you boss!" Said a guard who was being the hero of the rest and pulled out the goblin who was stuck in a toilet and over his shoulders with the toilet seat stuck around the Goblin's neck.

"Uhhhh... his is going to be so awkward when get thrown in prison." Grumble Trevour over his shoulder, dripping water down his face.

As everyone was making a run for it at the burning entrances, Shay looked down, watching as the blood-red plant flowers were set on fire one by one and burned to ashes in a matter of seconds.

"Shay!" Yelled Ezekiel from the rafters, using his magic of the burning smoke to push back the flames back the best he can. "I can hold the fire back as long as I can! Get Phantom and get out of here!"

"Dang it! Wait a sec. I need to get a sample!" Shay quickly fell off the shelf to the ground and rushed over to the Purple Flowers as fast as she could. Just as the last of the flowers was about to be consumed by flames, Shay jumped up from a chair, lunged straight toward it, and, without a second, ate the entire flower in her mouth.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Ezekiel looked back down at Shay.

"Don't worry about It! Now I can g-get...hip! ...get." Hucip Shay as she started to look drowsy. "Oh Wow! ...hip! .... Th-is stuff ....hip! ....is ...hip! ...Oh Boy!"

Shay fell down to the ground on her side and started rocking left and right on her back. Waving her front paws in the air like she was boxing while mumbling and mellowing.

"God Dammit." Mutter Ezekiel as he covered his mouth with his shirt, then dropped down from the rafters and pulled some of the smoke below him, creating a mass cloud of it that broke his fall on the landing. Then he ran straight over to Shay and scooped her up into his arms. "What else could go wrong to-..."

Then suddenly, a piece of the roof fell down on top of Ezekiel and Shay. Just as it was about to hit them, a flying object came flying and exploded the falling roof, impacting it into a thousand pieces around them. Ezekiel looked up and saw Phantom standing up, holding one hand over his waist.

"Cough... Are you guys Ok!?" Phantom Called out.

'No thanks to you.' Thought Ezekiel. "Yeah, we're fine. I have to be the one saving the day!"

Ezekiel was mad at Phantom, wondering how much this could have been avoided if he hadn't entered the building by himself and waited for them to show up. But he snapped himself out of his thoughts after another piece of the roof fell beside him.

"S###!!! Hrrr... Let's get out of here!"
